"They said we were enemies. But in truth, I was in love with you. And I think secretly, you were in love with me too."
"You need two hands for that?"
"It's too big"
He smirks at me.

As I looked over at Dean, who was still smiling at me and waving excitedly, I couldn't help but feel my rage grow even more
and knew that something was about to go wrong. Mr. Antonio, thought that Dean had once again caused mischief. But without enough evidence, I couldn't stop him from accusing Dean. Deep down, I knew it was true, but I had to try to protect Dean. Despite my best efforts, however, I failed.
The moment Antonio asked Dean to come to the front of the classroom, everything went silent. Dean was scared, but not surprised. Everyone knew that there was no escaping the consequences this time. With all eyes on him, Dean walked slowly towards Antonio. Their eyes met with intensity, and Dean knew that there was no going back. Antonio's face remained stoic, as if he was trying to decide Dean's fate. And all I could do was watch all this unfold. Tense silence filled the room, as we waited for what would happen next.
Dean was scared, and he had good reason to be. Mr. Antonio had never gotten angry at a student before, but this time seemed different. Dean took a deep breath and faced him, but Mr. Antonio was not as forgiving as usual. He was angry, and Dean knew that he would pay for his mistakes. No one would be able to save him this time. The tension in the air was thick, and i was standing there near them fearfully.

A wierd representation on how we were... In reality, there would be two people in a bench and "Dean" would be sitting next to me.the blue thing near the teacher is supposed to be my torn newspaper 😵😂. I stink at drawing so. NVM.
For a long time, Mr. Antonio's face was always neutral, never showing too much emotion. But today, it seemed different. Anger and disappointment were evident in his eyes as they followed Dean up to the front of the class. As I looked at him, my own eyes were blank, devoid of any emotion. I was angry at him, yet so scared for him,but I wasn't sure he was the one who had taken my paper away. I didn't wish to believe it, but it was a possibility. At that moment, I felt conflicted and unsure of what to do.
He didn't scold Dean for taking my paper, but for all the mischief he had caused in the past. I felt uneasy, nauseous, and sick as I saw him like this.I felt a sudden stinging pain in my head as closed my eyes shut, not wanting to see his state.
His face was red with embarrassment, and his head was down. My mind was chanting "I'm so sorry" on repeat, but I didn't dare say a word. I was too shocked, conflicted, and unsure of what to do. I had never seen Mr. Antonio lash out at a student like this before.
I couldn't look at him in the face, so I looked at the floor instead. I was sweating profusely, even more than Dean. As the teacher began to state all of Dean's mischief, I could sense his anger burning my insides. It wasn't about taking my paper anymore, it was about all the naughtiness and trouble he had caused throughout his time in the school. I felt guilty for what he was going through, but at the same time, I thought he deserved it for his actions. My emotions were a confusing mixture of pity and anger, and I felt deeply conflicted.
"Look at you. You're an embarrassment to this class and this school. You think I haven't noticed all of the trouble you have been causing? Well, now it's time to pay for your misdeeds. You need to learn to obey the rules and behave properly. In this class, we do not tolerate distractions or mischief. It's time you learned to follow the rules like everyone else. Understood?I can't believe how you've acted in this class. You've distracted your classmates, . You have a long list of misdeeds to answer for, and now it's time to learn your lesson. I don't want to hear another word of excuse or alibi. In this class, we expect you to behave properly and follow the rules. If you can't do that, then expect further punishment. Got it?"
As Dean looked up at Antonio through tear-streaked eyes, he tried to gather his courage. However, Antonio didn't seem to notice or care, as he carried on scolding him. "Sir please," he muttered, trying his hardest not to show his tears to anyone. I felt guilty, as I watched the teacher continue with his verbal lashing. Dean pleaded, but Antonio wouldn't stop. "I'll call your mother today!" he said, to which Dean replied with a whimper of fear, "Sir please.Antonio continued regardless, and Dean's courage was slowly crumbling.
Dean loved his mother more than anything else in the world. She was always there for him when he needed her. When Antonio mentioned the threat of calling his mother, his heart sank. How could the teacher threaten to call someone who Dean loved so dearly? She had taught him everything he knew and loved him unconditionally. He didn't know what his mother's reaction would be, but he couldn't bear the thought of her being angry with him.
Suddenly, it seemed that Dean loved his mother even more as the threat of calling her loomed over his head.
Dean's heart was wracked with guilt as his eyes filled with tears. His smiling, brown eyes, which had always been so full of life, were now filled with sadness and fear. He couldn't bear to look at anyone as the scolding continued. It was killing him to see the teacher so angry. He whispered "Sir please," knowing that it wouldn't make a difference. His guilt and fear were palpable, and it filled him with deep sadness. He felt as though he couldn't handle the situation, but he knew he had to try.
Gloria POV :
As the fear filled my heart, I spoke, "Sir, please stop this." gathering all the courage I had left in me. I was ready to do anything to stop the teacher's punishment, but he was intent on continuing. He didn't acknowledge my plea, and it made me more and more frightened.
Then, he said those words: "We haven't reached your matter yet, Gloria." What could he mean by that? Doubt and confusion filled me with anxiety, but I had to try and stay calm. I couldn't let my feelings distract me and had to stay focused on solving this problem.
"All together and strong," Gloria told herself, but inside, she felt like her heart was being stabbed by a million shards of broken glass, and the teacher's words cut like a scalpel to her soul. She didn't want to break down in front of the whole class, but it was difficult to remain composed. She managed a weak whisper of a response, but all she could do was stare at Dean, his face now red with unshed tears. "Sir, I found it," Gloria said, hoping to end this torturous conversation. The bell rings as Dean walks out of the classroom, pretending to be unbothered by all the chaos that had just happened.
The tension is high and something is about to happen. Their entire relationship hung in the balance. Would they overcome this hurdle or was it the beginning of the end?
