After the untimely demise of Baishali he became aloof. Of almost everything around himself. He was blaming too himself. In his subconscious mind, his unnatural attraction to Padmavati was the cause of Baishali's death. It was completely his mistake to be charmed by another girl. On the same day of his engagement!!! In his mind he was repenting hard. This was the main reason of his aloofness. You will think he was dumb. I agree with you. In the case of love, he was not very vocal or clear. He seemed confused. All the times. First between Baishali and Padmavati. Then Padmavati and Ashavari. Then Padmavati and her baby sister Supriya. Then Supriya and her baby sister Uruvi.
