Story Unfolds :

At the Royal Garden of Anga: Fortnight after the humiliation of Draupadi:

A beautiful girl was seen standing tall. In a lavishly decorated balcony which was adjunct with a garden. It was the dawn time. The Sun was seen in the horizon. The sky became reddish in the first rays of morning sunlight. The atmosphere was soothing and gentle yet her inner turmoil was at the peak. She could not fathom the ongoing political scenario of India that lead to the humiliation of a Kul Badhu at the Royal Court of Hastinapur.

She looked at the direction of the sky and sighed hard

She looked at the direction of the sky and sighed hard. For thousand times. Her heart was breaking up in pieces. For her once Sakhi. Krishna. Whom the whole world knew in the name of Yagyaseni Draupadi.

Don't take me wrong. It is not the case that Padma was in the favor of the Pandava. She was nor in the favor of Kaurava too. She was neutral. Like the most wives of Kaurava and Pandava. She was adored by Kaurava brothers. She was respected by Pandava too. So she was not taking side with any of them. Some readers had accused me wrongly that I am showing the good side of Pandava brothers in the story. But it is not so. I am depicting the side of Padma. Her point of view. To her, Pandava were wronged. Kaurava did not gave their due respect and admit their contribution in the politics of Hastinapur. She thought, till the end of her life, by giving mutual respect and admiration, this catastrophe, of Kaurukshetra, could be avoided. I am just trying to write her point of view as it was her life story. However let us come back to her story.

She felt so angry when Sudama was killed at the Swayambar of Draupadi. Yet she felt so sorry for her. Just by hearing her insult. In the open court. As a woman, she felt the situation very suffocating and insulting. No girl should be disrobed openly. Like that had happened with Draupadi. She had warned Suyodhan who ignored her wise warning. She tried to stop her husband Karna. But he was nowhere near the court that day. Mamashree Shakuni had sent him in somewhere else. He had rushed to there at the last moment. In vain. The incident had already took place.
