His accomplish came nearer to him and instrospected some footsteps. By narrowing his eyes and sitting down. Five footprints were prominent on the muddy grass. One of them were deep in the mud. It meant One of them were fat than others. He gussed right. He saw the footprint of Ratan, the fat guy, who was seen dozzing off on duty!!! Just some times ago!!! Now let me introduce him too. He was the Prime Minister of Prayag, once arch enemy of Karna, Bibastu, who decided to help him to meet with his beloved wife Padmavati. Yes he had hatred in his young heart for Karna but by seeing his distress his heart ached. He did not want Padma to die alone. Nor her Karna to suffer like this. He had tolerated the madness of the old King enough!!! If Karna married Padma then it's his choice. Why should his wife Padma had to suffer for this?!!
"Uthiye, Anga Raj. Hame byakul nahin hona. Apko yeah shobha nahin deti. Apko Padmavati ko banchana hoga. (Come on. Get up, o mighty King of Anga. It is not the proper time to be remorseful. We have to search your wife desperately.)" Bibastu patted on the trembling shoulders of Karna who looked at him vacantly.
Karna looked heart broken to him. He was not the same man who dared to challenge King Shandilya at his own Royal Court. He looked like a lost man to Bibastu now who had lost his own desire to live. And his assumption was true too!!! Karna did not know what to do now!!! Neither he knew the way to reach to Padma!!!!!
