Story Unfolds :
At a small Hut in outskirt of capital Hastinapur: around 6 months later:
"Hame is balak ko nahin rakhna. Ap aj se apitu abhi se iske Mata ho. Ham nahin. (I can't keep the baby with me. From this very moment you are his mother. Not me.)"
One beautiful girl told it sternly to her elder sister who seemed bewildered. Now let me introduce them to you all. They were Devi Supriya, the adored Su of Padma and her elder sister or Jiji Devi Padmavati. Now let me tell you everything myself.
The situation was that after losing her last unborn child (as we told it in the previous chapter elaborately), in her womb, Padma lost her reserve. She did not want to live anymore. She had tried to commit suicide several times. She did not eat anything. She wanted to die along with her unborn child. The situation became so grave that the doctors too became petrified for her well-being. For saving her life, Her son Vrish or Vrishasen, rushed to Supriya who came to her to console her. Padma did not seem convinced by her Su this time and asked for a son. From her. To forget her grief. Her Supriya was taken aback at first and then she understood that she had been tricked by Padma. While talking, she promised to do anything for her Jiji. So she was bound to give her a son too. It was really a trick of Padma to unite Karna and Supriya. She had a desire to reconcile those love birds. All together. However, at the end, Her Supriya defeated her. By donating the newly born baby to Padma. As Padma wished to have him, not Supriya. So this was the situation which twisted the fate to three persons, Karna, his Padma and his Devi Supriya. They became nearer yet so far. By the curl play of the destiny. And an innocent child had to suffer. Vrishaketu who till his last breath did not know that he was not Padmanav or son of his elder Mother Padma, instead he was a Supriyo or son of Supriya. By the way let us concentrate on the story now.
Padma then was seeing intently to the innocent face of the newly born Vrishi or Vrishaketu. She was overjoyed to welcome her this son. Even if it was not her own, but she took him under her wings without any inhibitions. She was determined to love him more than his biological mother Supriya. As she loved all Supriya sons. But that kind of declaration shook her to core. She for a second looked bewildered. Without even batting her eyelashes. As if she was unable to determine the gravity of the situation. Then she had lifted her eyes to the calm face of her baby sister Supriya.
