Story Unfolds:
At the dark passageway inside Anga Palace: At midnight: 3 months later:
"Aur kitne din lagenge?!! (How much time you want to finish the job?!!)"
Two girls were standing side by side and asked the question to the persons who were making a secret tunnel or passageway. It was a long one. From Hastinapur to Anga. So it needed time. But the situation was complicated. The army of Saurashatra was seen to match towards Anga. This tunnel had to be finished soon.
"Maharani, chinta mat kijiye. Thodasa karya sesh hain. (Don't worry a little bit, my Queen. Only some work is to be done.)" One of the workers assured them.
The first girl did not look convinced a little bit. She was petrified. As a Queen of Anga, she knew the importance of this tunnel. She had got the news that Saurashtra king Bhanu Dutt had been planning to captivate them. Inside the state. So that no ration could come to it from outside. It was a master plan at the time of war where enemies had surrounded the state and forced them to surrender before them. When the statesmen were hungry, thirsty and tired, then even the powerful states like Dwarka, Mathura or Hastinapur was bound to surrender. Anga was a small state before them. It had to be bound to surrender. This was just a superb War strategy!!! To win over the enemies!!! Without bloodshed!!! She, as the Maharani, could not let her statesmen die prematurely in hunger and thirst. Never ever!!!

The old man was the Prime Minister of Hastinapur, Mahamantri Vidur while the girl was none but the main female protagonist of our story Devi Padmavati herself.
