The boy I must forget

I was walking with Jacob when Heeseung ran to us, well, mainly to Jacob. When I spotted him, I said bye to my friend and left, not wanting to think even more about the boy. I tried my best to stay far from him, but having a friend in common wasn't the best thing. Nonetheless, Jacob never asked me any questions about my behaviour with his friend and I was pretty happy about it. I went to the school's library to study and relax without Heeseung close to me or in the same classroom. My plan worked and I went through a lot without thinking of this particular boy at all. I was grateful for school, but at the same time, it was a pain in the ass having to study all the time.

Because of my way of occupying my head, I got really good grades and in a way, I wanted to thank Heeseung. I didn't thank him directly, only in my head, I didn't want to talk to him. When I was about to go home, Jacob walked into the library and went straight to me. "Hi, are you going home?" He asked me. I only nodded and he smiled at me. "Want to walk home with me?" He again asked me. "Okay." I told him and we went outside together. It had been a month since we became friends and we hang out a lot, at least when he isn't with his other friend.

We were walked in silence when he finally spoke. "How are your gardes, I see you studying a lot?" He said. I explained to him that I wanted good grades and not that to make me forget about his friend I had to study. He bought my excuse and smiled at me. "I actually have difficulties in different subjects, can you help me? Like be my tutor?" He asked me. I was taking aback by his question and stopped walking to look at him in shock. I always thought that he had really good grades and that he was a fast learner.

I told him what was in my mind about his grades and he explained to me that he was really good at school before, but he met Heeseung and he was only having fun with his friend and always forgot to study. I smiled and laughed a little at his excuse. "Sure, I can be your tutor." I told him. His smile got bigger, he turned to me and hugged me tight, I felt like I couldn't breath anymore and I had to tap his shoulder in order for him to let me go. We began to walk again and talk about other things. When we got to his house, we said goodbye to each other and he went inside his house.

I walked a little bit more to go to my apartment that was 4 blocks away from his house. When I got home, I looked at all the subjects that he had difficulties in and made a plan for our teaching lessons. After awhile, I got tired and got myself something to eat. When I was eating, I got a text from Jacob, I had to put down my bowl and look at the notification on my phone. Goodnight my tutor ❤️. My eyes stared at the red heart, not knowing why he typed it. After some time, I just let it go and didn't answer to his text. I changed into different clothes, more comfortable, and laid in my bed with the covers on every part of my body except my face. I went to sleep after a long day, my mind was too tired from all the work, so it didn't make me have a weird dream tonight.
