Five year later
"I'm going to be late!" I screamed at my friend. She was taking her time checking her makeup was perfect but I didn't have time for that. She promised me that she was going to drive me to work because she wanted to help me, but I the real reason is that her crush worked with me. "I'm coming, two seconds!" She screamed from the bathroom. "Mina, if you want to see Oliver enter to building we should leave now!" I screamed at her. I blinked and the next second she was standing in front of me. "What are we waiting for then?" She said calmly and walked passed me.
I locked out front door and went inside her car. She tuned the engine on and started the gps in her car. I told her that I could just tell her where to turn but she didn't like this idea and said that she would use a gps to look more professional, like she knew her stuff. I had to wait until she entered the address of my workplace before she could start to drive. It took twenty minutes for us to arrive in front of the building and before she could ask me anything about her love's work schedule I left the car and slammed the door.
I made my way inside the big gray building and walked up four stories until I sat behind my desk and opened my laptop. I took my bag and took out some document to work on when a pink envelope fell from it. I pick it up and a blue post it was on it. I took the post it and placed the envelope on my desk, wanting to read the little note before. Can you give this letter to Oliver, please? Thank you. I looked at the note and sighed. She wanted me to do all the dirty work, she was to much of a coward to do it herself. I was working on my things when I saw Oliver walk past me. I got up quickly, grabbed the letter and ran towards him, not wanting to give him the letter later. "Oliver!" I screamed a little. He turned around and smiled at me.
"Yes?" He asked with the biggest smile I've ever seen. "My friend wanted to give you this." I told him calmly. I gave him the letter and he took it with a lot of confusion on his face. "Who's your friend?" He asked me. I didn't know if she wanted me to tell him her name so I said that she probably signed it and left him standing in the middle of the room. When I sat back down, my coworker beside me rolled her chair closer to mine and whispered in my ear. "You've got a crush on him and you're too shy to tell him so you use the friend excuse? That's genius." She told me with a smirk. Before I could deny it, someone called her to help. I reached out for her but she had already got up and turned her head to give me a wink.
I wanted to scream that it wasn't from me but I couldn't do that in my workplace. I continued to work until Oliver called me to come see him. I sat down in front of him and waited for him to talk. "So, is your friend you?" He asked me awkwardly. My eyes widened on their own and I started to wave my hands in the air in front of me. "No no! It's my roommate!" I said very loudly. He looked at me like he was relieved but still a little weird. "How come she knows who I am?" He asked me. I started to explain to him how they were in the same university and she had a crush on him since that time but she was always too shy. He laughed and told me that he was willing to meet her after work.
When I was finally finished with my day, Oliver joined me and we waited together in front of our building for Mina. When I saw her car, I elbowed Oliver to show him and he started to look stressed. I laughed a little but when I saw Mina's face, I burst out laughing. Her face was so funny, she looked like she had seen a ghost. I opened the passenger door and looked at her like I would look at dramas I watch. "You wanted to talk to you beloved, here he is." I told her smiling ear to ear. She looked at me shocked from what I had just told her. "Do you want to come eat with us?" I asked the man standing behind me. He only nodded. I realized that he was blushing. I had an amazing idea and left my place to go sit in the back.
"Sit in front, I'll sit here." I told him. Both him and Mina turned to me with help written in their faces. I smiled and pulled out my phone to play a game. Oliver sat in his seat and Mina started the car. My friend drove us all to a cute little restaurant where she and I had eaten once. It was the most delicious place I knew. We left the car and walked inside. The lady in the front walked us to our places. When we were walking, I turned to Mina. "Do you want to sit in front or beside him?" I asked her. She signalled me that she wanted him in front and me too. She wanted to have us too in front of her to make sure she doesn't get tricked again. I smiled at her and we all sat in our seats.
Mina and me ordered the same thing we had ordered the last time we came here and Oliver went with the same thing as Mina, he didn't know what to order. We talked and talked until our food had arrived. By this time, my coworker was less shy and he was laughing at every joke my friend made. I laughed along because of how cute they were, they were going to be the cutest couple I will ever know. Just as we were laughing because of an unexpected situation, I used Oliver as an armrest to not fall and my eyes landed in someone else's. He was there, sitting at another table, looking into my eyes. Five years without anything and now he was in front of me.
"Heeseung?" I whispered, shocked.
