My mother was sitting in my couch watching television while I was cleaning the table. We had eaten already and she didn't talk to me since Heeseung left. Every time I tried to tell her something or start a conversation, she would turn her head the other way or shush me. She was really mad that I started to talk to the boy she wanted me to forget for 10 years, but I had fun with him and I wondered if I could just stay friends with him and remember him everyday. I was washing the dishes when I heard my phone ring. Before I could get to it, my mom had already grabbed it and was looking at the screen. She saw the name but didn't have any reaction and gave it to me.

The caller was none other than This boy ❤️. My heart skipped a beat and I glanced at my mother before going inside my room to answer. "Hi." I said calmly. "Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for grading my paper so fast and I wanted to apologize for coming at your apartment in a bad time." He told me. I told him that it wasn't his fault and that my mother had come unannounced. We talked a little more about the next session and after a while, he had to hang up to go practice. I threw my phone in my bed and went to the living room with my mom, trying to see if she would talk to me. I sat next to her on the couch and moved closer and closer to see her reaction.

All of a sudden she turned to me with a big smile and placed her hands on my shoulders, making me stop moving and stare into her eye. "I see that you have a boyfriend, I'm happy, that means that you have forgotten your love for him. The only thing left to do is stop seeing him." She told me. I looked at her confused, boyfriend? I tried to think of anything that could of made her think that I had a lover. Just when I thought this idea had came out of her head, I remembered Heeseung's name in my phone. My mom turned back to face the television with a smile on her face, leaving me speechless. I tried to pay attention to the show that was on but I just couldn't.

What my mom had said made me scared, what if she decided to drop by unannounced once in a while like she didn't today? What if she wants to keep an eye on me to make sure that I stop seeing the boy she dislike so much? When her show had come to an end, she closed the television and stood up in front of me. "I'm going to wash up and go to sleep, where am I sleeping?" She asked me. "Sleep in my bed, I'll sleep on the couch." I answered her. She went into the washroom to take a shower while I went into my room to get a pillow and another blanket for me. I laid in the couch under my softest blanket, thinking about my mother's hatred towards Heeseung. I never knew why she hated him so much. My eyes started to feel heavy while I was thinking and they closed on their own, leaving me with my dreams.

"I love him mom! Why do you hate him so much, he's an 11 years old boy for Christ sake!" I screamed at my mother.

"You haven't seen him for a years, how can you say you still love him! Go to your room! I'm so disappointed in you." She told me.

As I stormed to my room, my eyes started to water and when I reached my bedroom, the tears that I was holding in fell as fast as they could. I closed my door and sat on the ground, arms on my knees and face on my arms. I cried until my father knocked on my door.

"Can I come in sweetie?" He said from the other side of the door.

I answered him what he wanted and he opened to door. He kneeled next to me and placed his hand on my shoulder.

"I know your sad about moving away from Heeseung, but you'll have to get use to it. It's been a year since we're here and it's going to be more in the future. Your mother and I love you and only want the best for you. If you love him, forget him." He said and left my room.

My 11 self never wanted to listen to her parents when they told her this, but maybe she should've have. I got up from my spot and walked to the mirror in my room and saw my present self inside it, holding tears in her eyes. I wiped them with my small hands and touched the mirror, wanting to fall inside the reflection to be my older self, my present self, not my younger self full of pain. As my fingers touched the mirror, it went trough and my whole body fell inside.

I fell in the void for some time until my body hit a soft mattress. I looked around and saw two Heeseungs far away, one 11 years old and another one 20 years old. They were holding each other hands, looking all happy. The younger one turned around to look at me and I saw tears fall from his eyes. The older one turned and the only expression that he had in his face was confusion. He didn't understand why the younger him was crying over a little girl. He didn't know who I was.

I jumped awake and sat on my couch. I was sweating so much and my hair was stuck to my face. I stood up and went to get a new pyjama and washed my face in my bathroom sink. It was late and my mother was sleeping in my bed, not knowing that the boy she hated appeared in my dream. I went back to my couch and laid under my blanket. I couldn't let go of Heeseung but even my dreams told me to. I had to forget him somehow but it was hard when I had to tutor him in English. While trying to find a plan to forget him, my eyes decided that it was time to sleep again.
