Clarissa's POV
Shattered
"Mabuti at sumama ka," Gasper said to me as casually and as coldly as he could be.
Tuluyan siyang lumapit sa amin at akala ko ay magsusungit na naman siya dahil nakita niya kami ni Lyle na nag-uusap, ngunit mali ako. I can't quite understand why I felt dismayed. Maybe because I was used to seeing him having an attitude every time he sees Lyle and I having a good time together. Ngayon ay parang katulad lang ng dati ang pakikitungo niya sa akin.
"Yeah, my brother brought me with them," I answered him.
"That's good," he said, and I managed to smile casually. "You look so pretty with your new look, by the way."
The unexpected compliment left me speechless. Hindi naman siya parang namumuri sa akin palagi kaya nagulat ako. I despise the fact that I feel excessively flattered by that compliment. While I've received numerous compliments, none have felt as significant as this one. May gusto ako kay Gasper kaya para sa akin ay mas espesyal ang mga papuri niya sa akin—na ayaw ko sanang maramdaman.
