Chapter 13
Huh, I guess I wasn't paying much attention to which stream-side I followed earlier.

As I tried to recall my steps, the cat began to head down the stream on the left.

"You think that's the way? I guess I'll trust your cat instincts."

I heard the sound of owls in the distant trees.
"This forest. . .shouldn't be that bad at night right? It's still the same. Just—darker."

The cat seemed pretty confident as to which way it was leading me, though to be honest, I was slightly doubting her.

I didn't recognize this area AT ALL.

"Cat, are you sure this is the right way..?"
She just continued to lead, as if she was certain to what she was doing.

". . ." I want to name this cat. Maybe. . .Snowfall?

"This isn't the right way back to that cave. Come with me and we'll go to the other direction."

I picked up Snowfall and turned around to head back to where the stream split into two.

I hope that cave is atleast comfy to sleep in. Im so tired. But I'm quite afraid to fall asleep...

As I thought about it, i heard the trees begin to creak, making my heart race out of slight worry.
I didn't know trees made sounds. .or what if they don't and some kind of ghost is haunting them?

I suddenly jumped in alarm as the cat let out a sudden hiss.

"What?? What's wrong?"
Maybe she was just startled.

Another half hour of cluelessly walking around, I was completely convinced this forest was trying to kill me. The sound of the wind was loud and the movement of small critters spooked the cat.

Can morning come any sooner? I don't know how much longer I can—

I bumped into something before I could finish my thought, and I looked and saw it was Hakun.

"What? Are you blind?? Im walking here." -Hakun

". .What are you doing down here..?"
"None of your business. Gosh your so nosy."

"No? You must've followed me."
"Why the hell would I follow you! Your annoying and NEVER shut up."

"It was just an assumption, you low tempered tyrant..."
"Who do you think your calling a tyrant! I'll punch you in the face right now, no hesitation."

"You wouldn't."

". . .Your right, I wouldn't."
"?? Really?—" I broke off as he grabbed me by the shirt, pulling me forth and making me accidentally drop the cat.

"Wh—"
"I would punch you, and I will. But my amazing combat skills shouldn't be wasted on such a worthless life like yours."

"I—was joking."

"Yeah right, your just saying that so I don't bust you in your face. But I'm feeling kind-hearted today so how does another 'swim' sound."

Seriously? My clothes are finally dry!

I tugged at his hand to make him let go of my shirt but he wouldn't.
"Let go! I'll file a police report on you for harassing me!"

"Are there police departments in the woods? I don't think sooo."

"Then—" I was interrupted as Hakun turned around and began to drag me towards the river not far.
That water is probably freezing!
"You need psychological help!"

"The more you talk, the longer your head will be underwater."

I lowered my head a little and bit his hand, making him let go.

He pulled his arm back,  glaring at me.
"First my brother now me?! You feral animal."

I spun around to leave but he caught hold of  my uniform tie.
"x.x My tie—"

The white furred cat suddenly leaped up onto Hakun and dug it's claws into his face.

">.< Ow!" He let go and I ran, back to the old stream and eventually finding that cave again.
Snowfall had caught up to me, sitting beside me while I relaxed my breathing.

"Wow! I haven't ran that quick since my last gym class."
