Chapter 19
How could he stab me in the back so suddenly and at the worst time imaginable. Blah blah blah.
•Cursing

"Zotan. Don't you think it was strange how simular my story was to your dreams?"
"I di—"

"Oh well, as soon as you shut your eyes, there'll be no waking up again. Sweat dreams~"

Kaida turned away and headed back into the woods but in a different direction.

". . .WHAT! Noo! Does this mean I'll never see Holtar again?? Or my best buddy Haru? How—"

"Shut up Zotan. Now is not the time to have a panic attack."

I looked at him in frustration. "How are you simply so calm. We're at the bottom of a pit IN the middle of a forest!"

"Kaida has always been suspicious as fuck. It's not my fault you were too blind to see it. Now stop complaining. This pit looks about 10 feet deep..."

"...okay?"

As I waited for a reply from Hakun, he just stared me up and down with an angered look.

"What?"

"Ugh nothing. I had a plan but it won't work because of you."
"How is that my fault."

"Oh so your gullible AND stupid. That makes everything so much easier."

"What are you talking about? Can you not pick on me for atleast 2 minutes."
"Can you stop being so sensitive and drink some milk, whiney baby."

"Ugh." I turned away from him and faced the other way.
I guess that's it. I'm gonna die down here...what a terrible terrible way to pass. All by myself and without saying goodbye to all my loved ones.

I heard the sound of very small steps approach the edge of the pit so I looked upwards. I saw the white furred cat I had almost forgotten about.

Maybe she's come to say her last goodbyes to me.

I was too tired to think anymore of it. I barely got sleep the day before the last day of school, so I haven't slept for 2 days straight.

The only thing I could think about how is closing my eyes, laying down on something soft, comfy and warm for me to sleep on.

"You better not be thinking about sleeping."
". . ."

He continued to raise his voice and it really began to get annoying.
"Ong shut up..." I muttered then laid down and took my blazer off to cover myself with it.

I sat up shortly after. "What am I doing? I can't fall asleep! I might. . .die!"

"Are you going crazy? Why are you going to belive whatever that Kaida says."

I stared at the ground feeling slightly guilty for not having told anybody about my recent dreams, not even Haru. I guess I thought he wouldn't really take it seriously.

"You don't know anything Hakun."
