Chapter 21

After wandering through the water filled rooms for atleast another 10 minutes, I now observed that as soon as the lights turn back on, that creature appeared.

I really hope I'm getting close...I don't know how much longer I'll be able to avoid that thing.

The lights began to start flickering on a and off, making me belive they were going to go completely go out once more.

But why? The last time it turned off was only barely 2 minutes ago.

Now, the lights completely went out but I did not hear the screech of that creature like I normally would.

". . ."

It was silent for a while until I heard fast movements moving through the water.

Now what is that??

I tried not to make a sound but my foot accidentally hit something under the water which caused me to stumbled over a bit.
!!

The sound of the supposed creature now sounded like it was moving in my direction,  so out of panic I ran.

"Why is running in water so hard!"
I was panting as I tried to use my hands to boost my speed in the water.

It's so dark I can barely see anything or where I'm going.

All that hard work of following those light bulbs, down the drain because I'm probably unknowingly running farther away from my exit out of here.

I feel like that creature was on my heels now, making all kinds of abnormal sounds.

I could just feel the look of panic on my face at the thought of being eaten and killed.

I can't expect to keep running though. I'm going to run out of energy eventually. And that thing will catch up to me any second now!

As I continued running slowly through the water, I saw just barely what looked like a wall ahead of me.

I looked left to right in a hurry but it seemed that the wall stretched out far beyond what I could see.

I'm cornered!
