Getting Hogwarts letters and school supplies

(Harry's POV)

It's been 3 years since Neville, Henry, and me got our familiars and it's now me and Henry's birthday so and we're really excited about it because we are finally getting our Hogwarts letters today and we get to see Neville today as well and we get to go school shopping with him and his gran.

Me and Henry are at the dining table eating breakfast and in walks our parents along with Neville and lady Longbottom. In our mums hand is two letters she walks up to us and gives each of us one of the letters. When we got them we both had grins that spread from ear to ear on our faces. When we opened them they read

Dear Harry Potter ,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

The second page with requirements says:

UNIFORM First-year students will require: 1.Three sets of plain work robes (black) 2.One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear 3.One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar) 4.One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings) Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.

With read Henry, Neville, and I sent our letters to the school and the three of us along with our parents went to the fireplace where the three of us went in with a handful of floo powder and all three of us said

The boys: Diagon Ally!

And threw the floo powder at our feet and we were engulfed in green flames and taken to a fireplace in the leaky cauldron. When we stepped out our parents and Neville's gran was coming in through the fireplace one by one and we all flicked our hands and the dust and sot came off. When the bartender, Tom, sees all of us he smiles and says

Tom: Hey there you lot. What are you six doing here?

Cynthia: We're just here to get these three their school supplies.

With that we went to the wall that separated the magical and non-magical worlds. Mum tapped the bricks and the wall opened revealing Diagon Ally on the other side of it. As we walked we were discussing what we were gonna get first and what we were getting last.
