Glancing around, Percy easily recognized the wizarding bank and walked inside confidently. He walked up to the counter, Aphrodite and Hephaestus following him closely. He strode right up to the counter and spoke to the goblin behind the desk. "I'm here to access my vault," he said, dropping his American accent.

The goblin looked at him doubtfully, no doubt because of his lack of wizard's robes, but didn't comment on it. "Key?"

Aphrodite and Hephaestus exchanged looks and were about to step in when Percy pulled a large golden key from thin air and slid it across the counter. "Right here."

The goblin picked it up and studied it. He couldn't stop the surprised expression that came over his face as he looked at the key. "Oh my," he said. He looked back up at Percy. "It is an honor to have you here, Sir. My name is Gornuk. If you will please follow me, I will take you to your vault immediately."

Percy nodded politely. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Gornuk. I hope you will not mind if my two companions join us?"

Gornuk nodded. "Of course, Sir. If you will all come with me."

Percy followed him with his head held high. The two gods caught up to him and Aphrodite whispered, "Percy, what was that?"

Percy glanced over at her. "Hecate is highly respected in the wizarding world and, being her champion, so am I."

"Wait, you're her champion? Why do you hate her so much?" Aphrodite asked.

Percy frowned, his fingers lightly brushing the spot on his wrist where Hecate's champion tattoo resided. "She did something that I'm not sure I can ever forgive her for. I respect her for what she taught me, but I will never trust her again."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Hephaestus asked.

Percy shook his head, staying quiet. The message was clear: you don't need to know.

They climbed into the mine cart, and it sped down the tracks. Percy smiled as the air rushed by him, the wind whistling in his ears. When they finally stopped, Percy climbed out behind Gornuk and walked to his vault. He inserted the key and unlocked the door. It swung open to reveal a huge room, piled with gold, silver, and copper coins, as well as various magical items.

Percy grabbed a bottomless bag and started stuffing coins into it, until it held a fortune. He also grabbed a sheath for the wand he would likely be getting, a couple of silver throwing knives and a hunting knife, and a couple of necklaces enchanted to hide his demigod scent; such objects were very rare and very valuable. He didn't know why he grabbed two, just that he felt like he should. He had learned by then that he should always follow his instincts, as they were usually correct and had saved his life so many times.

When he had finished, he walked back out, locking the vault door behind him. They raced back up the tracks to the lobby and Percy climbed out, the other three following him. Percy smiled at Gornuk and bowed slightly at the waist. "Thank you for your assistance," he said politely.

Gornuk bowed his head and said, "It was an honor, Sir."

Percy smiled kindly and walked back out onto the streets of Diagon Alley. When they got out, he looked pointedly at Aphrodite. "Well? What do I need?"

Aphrodite pulled out a list and scanned it. "Let's get your books first," she suggested.

Percy nodded and they headed to the bookshop. When they entered, Aphrodite led Percy around the store, grabbing what he needed and handing it to Hephaestus to carry. After they had paid, Percy waved his hand and transported them back to his room on Olympus. They walked from shop to shop, buying everything he would need, including an owl. He had never had anyone in the wizarding world that he needed to contact, so he didn't already have one.
