Ryoiki: Return to The Beyond (6)

CHAPTER 2: Intervention.

Osiris began to sense...and entire hoard of powerful energy signatures arrive...

All it took was one big flash.

A big beam of light descended from the air, closer to the Solarian camp...

Once it cleared...Osiris saw his competition.

Ita, Kuta, Marcy, and Nuzgul...and close behind? The other gods.

All 4 were dressed in their combat armor.

Ita's silver Valkyrie.

Nuzgul's bronze plates.

Kuta's purple leather.

And Marcy's black hunter gear.

Ita stared at Osiris from across the battlefield...

And in a flash, they were bringing a strike from above, their katana being tossed down onto Osiris's head.

Osiris held up one of his forearms, covering it in magic and blocking the hit, causing Ita to flip away.

"Ita!" Osiris said with fake happiness in his voice, drawing his metal rods from his belt.

"Osiris." Ita returned, one handing their katana in their right hand.

With a twitch, Osiris dashed forward, going for a hit at Ita's shoulder.

Ita sidestepped, and did an upward slash into Osiris's armpit, scraping his thick metal armor.

Osiris tanked the slash and hit Ita with an uppercut to the chin.

The hit sent Ita back, but not for long, as they went for a stab at Osiris's chest.

Osiris's went for another block with his forearm, but Ita changed their trajectory and took off Osiris's hand instead.

They tried to combo off it but going for a vertical slash, but Osiris caught the Katana on his hand.

"You think losing a hands gonna stop me?" Osiris teased, out of the stump of his right hand, tendrils made of void picked his hand up from the ground and re-attached it...

He then put the other hand on Ita's katana, beginning to put pressure on it...

"I am not going to fall that easy."

Osiris began to coat Ita's katana blade in his poison...

And ita noticed it start to crack.

With a little bit of force...the katana shattered into thousands of pieces around Ita, the sheer burst of energy in their hands catching them off guard.

Using the opportunity, Osiris aggressively grabbed Ita by the neck.

"I am going to make you suffer, Demiurge..." He hissed.

Ita was building power in their body to break free...but they didn't need to.

From Osiris's right, came Sakuna. Dressed in her ranger armor.

She roundhouse kicked Osiris in the face, making him drop Ita and be thrown a bit further away.

"Long time no see FUCKER" Sakuna shouted, grabbing her handles off her hips and extending her blades.

"...The moth..." Osiris grunted, summoning his metal rods back into his hands.

In a flash of light, Sakuna shot at Osiris. Lightning trailing her.

She sliced Osiris's left cheek, then combed with a small spin with her blades, and finished with a stab in Osiris's shoulders. Breaking through his armor.
