CHAPTER 10: Forbidden Road

As Orix regained his consciousness, the first thing that came to him...was the insanely sharp pain in is back, arms, and feet.

Next, was the chatter.

Orix opened his eye...and saw where he was.

He was...in Oanki's throne room. Sitting above Oanki's throne and looking over the meeting currently occurring.

The region leaders, along with many Void Demons, both in mortal and Void form, all standing around a still unconscious Ita...who was now wearing a pure white dress and was tied to a chair.

Orix tried to struggle free but felt the pain in his body get sharper.

Orix looked to his left...

His hand was nailed to wood.

Orix looked around more, noticing nails in all parts of his body...

Orix was crucified over Oanki's throne.

"...Hey! The Hunter is awake!" Parker called, pointing up at Orix.

All the region leaders and Void Demon's stared up at Orix.

"What...the fuck...! What is this!!!" Orix shouted.

"We got you!" Called a woman.

"Finally caught up with you for what you did!" Called another Void Demon.

"Now now. No need to shout." Oanki called, calming the demons.

"The hell are you doing to me and my child!?" Orix shouted.

"Well, for one, you are my trophy...as for Ita...I plan to rectify their own mistake for them."

Oanki stood up and walked over to the sleeping Ita...and placed his necklace around their neck.

"They are my fiancé...they will marry me..."

All the void demons cheered, while the region leaders looked concerned.

"Ita would never marry you! Your crazy!!" Orix shouted.

"SHUT UP HUNTER!" Oanki shouted, a burst of energy crossing the room.

Oanki looked at Parker, who quickly held his wrist up.

Golden symbols surrounded Ita...

"Mghn...ugh...fuck..." Ita mumbled, stirring.

"ITA!!!" Orix shouted, wiggling on the crucifix...

"Dad-? What the-?" Ita asked, coming to their senses and looking around the room...

"Oh! What the!? Let me out!!!" Ita shouted, starting to wiggle around and build magic.

"Ah ah ah, can't have you breaking out." Parker teased, the magical symbols floating around Ita shotting several magical beams into parts of their body, canceling out their magic.

"OW! FUCK!" They screamed.

"...You have been found guilty of collaboration with the resistance...and proof that your mind is being corrupted by the same force which has taken your father..." Oanki started.

"Luckily, I have already set you up an escape...marry me. And you will be pardoned, and I will work to rid you of your blight-"

Ita interrupted with a loud shout.

"FUCK! OFF!"

"I would never in my life agree to marrying you or letting you in my head!"

Oanki balled his fist and growled.
