Chapter 19 Jacielle

“Jace don’t go!” Louis arms were wrapped around my ankles. We were standing in the middle of an airport and the oldest member of One Direction was on the floor kicking and screaming like a toddler. “We love you.” Love. The word made me sick. It didn’t exist. I learned that the hard way.

“Louis you have my number, just text me.” He reluctantly let go. “That goes for all of you too.” I pointed around the circle skipping HIM. I don’t even know why he came. Autumn was crying when I hugged her. “I’ll come back and visit you!” I cried with her. Leaving her was the worst part honestly. She was the first one to know about everything. I pulled away from her and wiped her tears away. “I’m going to miss you.” She nodded. All the other boys were exactly the same. You wouldn’t think they would cry this hard for me, but they did. Flight 75 to Columbus. I looked up at him to see him staring back. I quickly looked away and headed towards the gate. Right before I stepped in the entrance way he pulled me back. “My plane is about to leave.” He rolled his eyes.

“Thirty seconds.” His eyes pleaded with me. I sighed and stepped out of line. I motioned for him to begin. “I’m sorry and the words just came out and the scheduling of the interview didn’t give me enough time to calm down and I realized that too late and I don’t know.” He ran a hand down his face. I dug through the pockets of my suitcase, not really paying attention so that my feelings didn’t get in the way.

“Here. It’s the money that you spent on my clothes. I’ll pay you back for everything else later.” He stood there shocked.

“I said sorry.” He said desperately. A fresh wave of tears appeared in his eyes. I shook my head and blinked back my own tears.

“I said my plane is about to leave.” I placed my hand on his arm before walking towards the gate. I thought this stuff only happens in movies or books, but no. Here I was walking away from the only person I loved.

“Why!” I heard Harry yell and it took every ounce of strength in me to not turn around. I heard all the boys chase after him. “No! I love her!” was the last thing I heard before I put my headphones in and got on the plane.

The weather was terrible inColumbus. The rain was pouring down and felt like each drop was a needle, but I didn’t care. As much as I had been through, this pain was nothing. I just felt numb. My mom came and picked me up from the airport. Her brown hair stuck to her face and she was drenched when she gave me a hug. “Jacielle Kennedy Fields I missed you so much.” I nodded and hugged her tightly. If Matt were here he would know something was wrong. He wouldn’t try to comfort me. I missed him. With Harry out of my life and Taz pissed at me, it seemed like my memories of Matt were fading but at the same time stronger. “Let’s get you home.” Mom smiled completely oblivious to everything.

When we pulled into the driveway I couldn’t help but smile at my old house. I missed being home. I walked up to the front door and admired it before pushing it open. A billion streamers and party balloons were thrown in my face. I hate suprises. I forced a smile on my face. Some people from my old job at McDonald’s showed up, but other than that they were mostly mom’s friends. Once I made my way to the kitchen I froze. “Zaya?” she turned around and smiled. I ran into my sister’s arms and we both held on for dear life. Her hair was now bright orange and her eyes were bright blue. “I missed you so much!” I stepped back and realized I wasn’t dreaming.

“My little sister is back in town I had to come see her.” She looked at the ground. “Although I have a feeling that she’s back because something bad.” I bit my lip. She was exactly like Matt when it came to my feelings. “Tell me later. Right now, go find Taz, and don’t worry because I talked to her.” I shook my head. I can’t just go talk to her. Me and Taz are exactly the same, we’re both stubborn. “Jace she misses you I promise. She’s up in her room.” I slowly made my way towards the stairs talking to people I’m not even sure I know. When I got upstairs I knocked on her door. I heard some random shuffling before her door flew open.

“Come in.” magazines littered her floor and each on had to do with me and Harry. “I’m so sorry. For the fight, your break up, me not being there for you.” I looked around the door and found my best friend sitting in a pile of tissues. “How could he do that to you?” I smiled.

“Get up.” I pulled her up and we hugged. I missed her and her emotions. “I’m doing fine.” She pulled back and hit me.

“I’m not them. You can’t lie to me. Zaya and I want details later kapeesh?” I nodded and laughed.

“You would be the friend crying over my break up.” She smiled and dramatically flipped her hair.

“It’s because I’m freaking awesome.” I shook my head before hugging her again. “Now let’s go downstairs and get some food! I’m one hungry white chick!” I laughed and followed her downstairs. I almost forgot about everything. About the break up. About me being famous inEurope. About the boys. It seemed like everything that was weighing me down was gone. I turned my phone off airplane mode and was bombarded with text, but I didn’t care. I went home for a reason and I wasn’t planning on going back anytime soon.

A/N: The next chapter is the last one. The sequel to this book is going to be called ‘Dream’ and it should be up two weeks from now so that I have some time to write! Enjoy the last two chapters :)
