Daryl and Carl have healed enough that we now have to worry about leaving the farm. Hershel seems adamant about us leaving. Rick is trying his best to talk Hershel into letting us stay but I don't see it happening. He's a stubborn old man.

"Eleanor, can I speak to you?" Rick asks me.

"Yeah," I answer, standing up from the ground.

I follow him towards the woods. I have no idea where we are going but he seems tense so I just follow.

When we get far enough away, he turns to face me. He looks broken.

"Lori is pregnant," he says quietly.

I nod, "I heard."

"From who?"

"Maggie, when she went to get Lori abortion pills and got attacked," I answer, looking down.

He sighs, "she puked them up."

"So she's going to have Shane's baby?"

"We don't know it's his."

"Rick, cmon," I say, looking up at him.

I realize how much my words hurt him when he can't even meet my eye.

"You deserve better and you know that," I add.

"Better than my wife fucking my best friend and having his child?" he chuckles.

"Way better than that," I grin, poking his stomach.

He shakes his head, "when did my life turn into such a mess?"

"When the dead started rising?" I offer.

"My life was a mess before that," he disagrees.

"Mine was too," I tell him.

"Yeah? I don't know much about your life before."

"My brothers and I hunted things that came out during the night," I explain, "Like demons and shapeshifters."

"Demons?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.

"The ones with black eyes that like people's souls," I answer, "Sam and Dean lost their mom from a
demon."

"What?"

"When Sam was six months old, a demon came into his bedroom and killed his mother right in front of him," I explain, "Our dad was so driven with hate and revenge, he put it onto his kids. I was an accident with another hunter."

"That sounds..."

"Insane? I know."

Our heads snap towards the farm when we hear yelling. We both look at each other then start running towards the sound.

Everyone is standing around the barn where Hershel was keeping walkers. Glenn let it slip and Rick was trying to handle it. Most of the Greene family still believes a cure can be found and they are still people.

Shane has broke the barn door open and walkers are flooding out.

Once that door opened and they all came out, we had no choice but to shoot. We shot loved ones of the Greene family. Beth watched her mom and brother get shot in the head.

When we thought they were all dead, a blonde walker came out. All of our hearts broke when we realized who it was. Sophia.

All I can hear is Carol's cries and the sound of Rick's gun going off.

Oh. Our group is broken. So freaking broken.

I lock eyes with Dean and I know he is thinking of the same thing. The group is about to fall apart. Shane went against Rick's wishes, Carol finally found out the truth of her daughter, and Lori's baby is just another thing we have to worry about.

Sam grabs my wrist, pulling me toward the car.

"Shane is losing his damn mind," I tell my older brother.

"Dean thinks we should separate from the group," Sam tells me once we get away from the group.

"What?" I definitely wasn't expecting that to leave his mouth.

"You're not safe here. They're too unstable," he states.

"You're probably just as unstable!" I argue.

"Ouch," he mumbles.

I sigh, "i'm sorry, Sammy. I didn't mean that."

"I know. We just really need to get out of here. We don't need them. It's always just been the three of us," Sam explains his reasoning.

"I get that but it's different now. We need more people for this. If it's just three of us, we can get separated a hell of a lot easier."

"Dean and I won't let you out of our sight," he tries to tell me.

"What if you get trapped against a wall? It's not like other creatures where a bite won't kill you or even a scratch!"

"That's not going to happen."

"Sam! You can't say that for sure! I'm not going to lose either of you so we need to stay here."

"Eleanor Winchester, what I say goes," Dean says from behind me.

I turn around to glare at my oldest brother, "fine. I'm not going."

I know this will work. There's no way in hell they would leave without me. Dean will be annoyed with me for an hour then get over it. He can never stay mad. Not when I give him my puppy dog eyes.

"You're so damn stubborn," Dean states.

"And annoying," Sam adds.

I roll my eyes, "whatever. We need this group just as much as they need us."

"You're lucky there's a kid still here or we would be gone," Dean tells me.

Dean's soft spot for kids has gotten us into trouble before. He always goes out of his way to try to save them, especially ones he sees himself in.

"Yeah yeah," I answer, walking up to him and pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"Let's go help them clean up this mess. I'm sure Hershel will want his loved ones buried," Sam says.

Dean and I nod in agreement. We all head back to the group that has already started cleaning up the dead bodies.
