I lean against Maggie as we are stopped for a break. I'm not sure how long we have been walking but we are all exhausted and hungry. Judith is getting cranky in my arms.

"Let me take her," Carl offers and I nod in response, handing over his sister.

"Are you okay?" Maggie asks me quietly, "You look a little rough."

"Thanks," I mumble, looking at her.

"You know what I mean."

"Lizzie killed Mika then Mika killed her," I answered.

"What?" She asks, turning her entire body to look at me.

"It really messed me up. It was terrible. Those two reminded me so much of mine and Jo's relationship. I lost Jo and then I lost those two. It's like I can't protect anyone. How am I supposed to protect Judith?"

"You have a whole group of people that are willing to protect that little girl. It's not just on you," she reminds me."

"I don't want her to ever lose me or Rick. She shouldn't have to grow up in this world without us," I begin ranting, "I will do everything I can to make sure she is safe, healthy, and loved by both of her parents."

Maggie gives me a small smile, "She is lucky to have you. We all are."

"I'm so sorry about your dad and sister," I say softly, pulling her in for a hug.

I hear a whistle come from behind us and which makes us both look to see Abraham smirking at us. Men are definitely still pigs.

"Watch it," Rick calls to him.

"It's not everyday you see two hot women hugging!" Abraham says with a deep laugh.

"Stop being gross," Rosita tells him as she smacks his chest with the back of her hand.

I giggle, "Thank you for the compliment."

"See? They like it," Abraham defends himself with my comment.

"Yeah? I don't like it so quit looking at my damn sister," Dean says, picking up a rock and throwing it at him.

An abrupt scream happens before anyone can say another word. Carl is quick to run towards the sound causing both Rick and I to chase after him.

"Carl!" Rick yells after him.

"We have to help!" Carl answers.

"Fine! Get behind us though! You have your damn sister," I remind him.

Carl immediately stops running like he had forgotten his baby sister was in his arms. He nods and lets Rick take the lead. I look behind us and see the rest of the group is trailing behind us.

A man dressed in a priest outfit is standing on a rock with walkers trying to reach for him. Rick and Daryl take out the walkers as the priest is thanking us.

"Do you have any weapons?" Rick asks him.

"Do I look like it?" The priest asks, "I don't need weapons, I have the protection of God."

Most of the group scoffs and laughs, "sure looks like it," Daryl mumbles.

I elbow him in his side and he gives me a glare. We have no idea who this man is or if he has a group, there's no need to piss someone off.

Father Gabriel is the priest's name. He has a church that only holds him. There's scratch marks on the side of the church that makes it look like people were trying to get in. Empty cans are inside and it seems like he is telling the truth. He's alone.

I run my hand over the words that are carved into the side of the church. This priest definitely has secrets but who doesn't?

I feel arms wrap around my waist and pull me into a soft chest, "have you ever been fucked in a church?"

I look up at Rick and giggle, "you don't want me to answer that."

During a case, I investigated a church with another hunter. An extremely attractive hunter. It ended up with me getting bent over in front of the cross. It definitely was an experience.

"Really?" He asks, looking down at me.

I nod, "You are such a naughty girl," he groans and turns me around. He pushes me up against the building and presses his lips against mine in desperation. I grip onto the back of his neck, wanting him closer to me. His body is pressed against mine as he reaches down to grab the back of my thighs. I wrap my legs around his waist and slide up my hand up to tangle into his hair. He moans against my lips when I tug.

"Seriously?" I hear a voice come from behind us. I break the kiss and glance around Rick to see Dean standing there with his arms crossed, "I didn't think Daryl was serious about you two fucking out here."

"We aren't fucking," I mumble as Rick sets me down. He presses a quick kiss to my forehead before turning to face my brother.

"We are outside of a church!" Dean continues.

I raise my eyebrows, "Sam fucked a literal demon and you're lecturing me?"

Rick grabs my waist and pulls me against his side, "Let it go."

"I know you guys are getting married but you're still my sister. I'm still in charge of you and Sam and the stupid decisions you make," Dean says in his dad voice.

I scoff, "I'm not your responsibility anymore, Dean."

"You will always be my responsibility until the day I die."

I groan and pull away from Rick to walk over to Dean, "I love you but you don't have to worry about me anymore. I'm grown. I have a family now."

"You might have your own family now but you and Sam are all I have," His voice cracks at the end.

I grab the sleeve of his jacket and walk into his embrace, "I just don't want you to feel obligated to take care of me. I'm okay. I can take care of myself."

He hugs me tightly, "I'll always take care of you."

"I know."
