I can hear screams coming from down the street. I had just put Judith down for a nap when I heard it begin. I didn't want to leave Judith alone but something was telling me I needed to get down there.
All I can focus on is my footsteps as I make my way outside. Did someone get hurt? Did a walker get through? I have no idea where Carl or Rick are. Rick and Michonne were supposed to walk around the fence to ensure it was safe.
What are Dean and Sam doing? I think Sam went out with Glenn. I just have to get to them.
There's a crowd surrounding something. People are yelling and I can hear the sound of someone getting hit. I push past the crowd of people to find Dean on top of Pete.
"Dean! Stop!" I yell to my brother just as Pete gets on top of him and throws punches. No no.
I try to grab Pete off of him but he ends up striking me with his elbow and hitting me in the jaw. Why the hell are people just standing around? My people seem to be missing. I stumble back as I see Dean get ahead of Pete. He's now on top of Pete and he won't stop punching him. I'm terrified he's going to kill him. I just stare in utter shock as I hold my jaw. I know Pete fucked up when he hit me and Dean is making him pay for it. I can't stop him when he gets like this. I need Sam.
Hands grab me from behind and I swing my arms around to try to get away, "Hey, it's me."
I stop thrashing around and turn around to face Rick, "Please get Dean."
There's a bang sound and before I have the chance to see what it is, I see Dean on the ground knocked out. Michonne had hit him over the head.
"You bitch!" I cry out, lunging at her. Rick tightens his grip on me and holds me back.
"She did it for his own good," Rick tries to calm me.
"I want you all out!" I hear Deanna yelling.
"Why are you so damn smug?" I glare at my brother.
"Don't cuss around my niece!" He gasps and covers Judith's ears.
Rick figured it was best to let my brother sleep it off and I've barely left his side since last night. I wanted Judith near me until Rick figured things out with Deanna. I'm afraid we will have to leave Alexandria due to Dean's idiotic actions. I love him but he can be so careless.
"You probably got us kicked out of here. Where the hell are we supposed to go?" I ask him.
"He was beating on Jessie! The prick deserved it," he defends himself.
"I get that, bub. I really do but we were already on thin ice with Deanna. Even if she doesn't kick us all out, she wants you out. I'm not letting you go anywhere without Sam and I."
"Come here," he says, opening his free arm for me.
I sigh in response but move over so that I'm laying against his side. I rub Judith's head gently as her eyes flutter closed. She sure does love her uncle Dean.
"What the hell happened?" I look up just as Sam enters.
"Come here, Sammy. We are having a family bonding moment," Dean answers with a grin.
"Seriously? You look like shit," Sam shakes his head.
I pat them empty spot next to me, "Come on, Sammy."
He hesitates only for a moment before he walks over to the bed and sits on the spot next to me. I can feel Dean move his arm to pay Sam on his head.
"So what happened?" Sam repeats his earlier question.
"Dean decided to beat Pete," I mumble.
"It wouldn't have been as bad if he didn't hit you in your jaw," Dean replies.
I feel Sam gently grab my chin, "ouch."
"Did you get it looked at?" Sam asks.
"It's fine," I answer with a shrug, "I got too close to two pissed off men."
"Yeah i'd say."
"What are we doing to do about Deanna?" I ask them.
"We will figure it out. We always do," Dean promises.
