The next morning, you woke up feeling more refreshed than before, which surprised you a bit. You got ready for the day before leaving your cottage. When you did, Kazuichi was there waiting for you.

"Mornin', Y/N-chan!" He said, a toothy grin on his face.

You smiled back at him, though yours was much smaller.

"Good morning," you replied, walking next to him.

The two of you chatted about random things as you made your ways to the restaurant for breakfast. Kazuichi was just so... loud... You kinda liked it. It made you step out of your comfort zone a little.

Kazuichi, however, was thinking differently. He liked how shy you were. He was beginning to grow a small crush on you.

When the two of you made it to the restaurant, Teruteru, Nekomaru, Sonia, and Hajime were already there. They weren't talking, though.

As you took your seats at one of the tables, everyone else started to flood in. When almost everyone got there, Byakuya started to speak.

"... Is everyone here?" He asked, looking around at everyone.

"... Huh? It seems Kuzuryu-san is not," Chiaki pointed out.

"Hehe, maybe he already got killed..." Hiyoko said, a smug smile on her face.

"Don't even joke about that...!" You said quickly.

"Don't go killing people off... I saw him outside earlier," Peko said, "... However, he told me he would not be joining us this morning."

"Why does he have to act like a lone wolf at a time like this...?" Mahiru rhetorically asked.

"C-Could he... Is he thinking up a plan to kill someone by himself...?" Kazuichi suggested nervously.

"Don't suggest something like that, either...!" You said.

"Well, he's a yakuza, isn't he?"

"I presume he's the kind of person who would not come even if we summoned him..." Byakuya said, "I guess it can't be helped... We should just talk among ourselves. Someone can fill him in later."

"Talk...? What are we going to talk about?" Hajime asked.

"Rejoice... I have decided to throw a party tonight."

"A party...?" You repeated, glancing down.

'I've never been to a party before...'

"That's right. A huge party that will last from sundown to sunrise."

"Party 'til the sun comes up!?" Ibuki exclaimed.

"Just so we're clear, I will not allow any absences. Your attendance at this part is absolutely mandatory."

"H-Hey... Now's not the time to talk about stuff... like partying!" Kazuichi protested.

"But... wouldn't a party take our minds off of this killing game...?" You asked, "I mean... It could bring us closer together, right?"

"It doesn't matter why I'm doing it..." Byakuya said, "Anyway... it is of vital importance that we all stay in one place tonight."

"... You say that with such significance," Gundham said.

"It's decided! We're having ourselves a party!"
