However, before you all left the courtroom, Monokuma said that an old friend was waiting for you all at the beach on the first island. That old friend... was Nekomaru.

You all rushed out of the courtroom and went to the island, calling out for him. When you guys couldn't find him, you were starting to feel discouraged, as if Monokuma had planned this out to give you false hope. That was until a familiar booming voice rang through your ears.

"Gaaaah-hahahaha! What happened!? Were you all looking for me!?"

"Th-That voice!" Sonia said, the spark returning to her eyes.

You all turned toward the direction of the voice. There... you saw something that you didn't expect in the slightest.

"Yo! I've kept you waiting!" He said. Nobody said anything, too in shock. "Hey, what's going on!? Perhaps you don't remember my face since we haven't seen each other in a while!? That's pretty sad, you know! That's too much! Gaaaaah-hahahaha!"

"Um... Who're you?" Akane asked.

"Huh? You too? What's going on? If you're messing with me... I'll stop doing IT to you!"

"Um... Nekomaru?" Chiaki asked, "Haven't you... noticed it yourself?"

"What do you mean, 'noticed...?' Oh, you mean this body!? Gah-hahaha! This is nothing!" Nekomaru... Nekomaru was a robot! "The name's NIDAI NEKOMARU!!! I've been reborn in the rivers of hellllllll!!! Gah-hahahahaha!"
