        Beach Day; Second Death

        The next morning, when you and Nagito were going to give to the restaurant, Sonia stopped you.

"Pardon me, L/N-san! May I speak to you?" She asked, "Alone, if you don't mind, Komaeda. Wait... Komaeda...?!"

"That's my cue to leave," he said, walking past the two of you.

"Don't ask..." You said, "What did you need?"

"Uhm... Oh, yes! A few of the other girls and I decided to spend some time on the beach today after breakfast. You know, to bond as girls," Sonia said.

"That sounds wonderful, Nevermind-"

"Please, call me Sonia."

"Okay, Sonia. You can call me Y/N."

"Alright, then. I'll see you there."

        You went to the second island, wearing a F/C (Favorite Color) one-piece swimming suit with a
Y/F/F (Your Favorite Flower) design on it. You also had on sandals and a long sheer coat over the swimming suit along with a bag that had your clothes and other things.

You went to the Diner only to see that Hajime and Kazuichi were there. Kazuichi smiled widely while Hajime's face flushed.

"Woah! You look amazing,
Y/N-chan!" Kazuichi complimented.

"Ah... Thank you...! What're you guys doing here?" You asked, trying to cover yourself with your coat.

"Oh, we were just wondering if we could join you! I happened to overhear you and Sonia talking about going to the beach with the other girls."

"Um... You'll have to ask Sonia."

You took a seat at one of the tables and chatted with them, waiting for the other girls to arrive. Eventually, Mikan, Ibuki, Chiaki, Akane, Peko, and Sonia arrived. While waiting, you guys saw Hiyoko sprinting away from something out of the window. You decided not to dwell on it, though.

After Sonia arrived, Kazuichi begged her to let him join you guys. She eventually accepted, and Kazuichi ran to the beach to prepare everything, Hajime following shortly after.

While you and the other girls were waiting for them to return, you suddenly heard something unexpected. The Body Discovery Announcement.

You quickly jumped out of your seat and ran to where Hajime and Kazuichi went: the beachhouse. The girls followed close behind you. You spotted Hajime and Kazuichi. You went to where they were, and that was where you saw it. Mahiru's lifeless body was slumped against the wall and on the floor, her head and hair dripping with blood.
