No, it's just a coincidence... That building couldn't be Hope's Peak Academy...

"... I see something," Chiaki said, tilting her head.

"Huh? What is it?" Hajime asked.

"... Hmm, about that... I don't know."

"What do you mean... you don't know?" Peko questioned.

"... It's like it doesn't belong with a building like this... It feels unnatural. It's like... a comic book originally about baseball becoming a side-scrolling action game... It's unnatural like that."

"I don't think I understand..." You said, trying to look for what Chiaki was seeing.

"Look, the door over there."

You did as she said and looked at the door of the building. It was hard to make out with everything around it, but you could see it.

"It's hard to make out from all the dust, but... this is the door you mean, right?" Hajime asked, pointing at the door.

"Yeah, it looks like that's the door to the ruin."

"So what's wrong with this door? Can you go inside?" Mahiru asked.

"Before we attempt to go inside... Let's try brushing off some of the dust and clearing some of these roots off the door. If you do... I'm pretty sure you'll understand what I mean by 'unnatural'."

"I don't really understand... but I guess we should try what she says," Kazuichi said.

"Y-You're right..." Hajime followed.

You all went to work dusting and clearing the roots from the door. And then... you realized what Chiaki was talking about.

The door was so... unnatural. It looked like something out of a sci-fi movie. Not only that, but there was a machine gun suspended right next to the door. Though... it looked oddly familiar...

It definitely wasn't an ancient ruin, so... perhaps your guess of Hope's Peak Academy was correct...? No, no, that's just a coincidence! Right...?

A/N: I know these chapters are pretty short, but I don't really want to spend a lot of time doing one long chapter, so I'm imagining a long chapter and splitting it into parts if that makes sense.
