Big Sister

... Peko killed Mahiru. Fuyuhiko was the one who finished the game first, and the prize he got was a picture of his dead little sister, who had died the same way that Mahiru did. Apparently, Mahiru's friend killed his sister, and he planned to kill her. But Peko, who was Fuyuhiko's bodyguard all that time, killed her instead to prevent Fuyuhiko from getting executed. And worst of all, Fuyuhiko was included in Peko's execution, and he got seriously injured.

That night, you could barely sleep, too worried about Fuyuhiko. Sure, he was mean, but he didn't deserve that.

The next morning, when you woke up, you got out of bed, got ready, and went to the restaurant. When you got there, Hiyoko was already there, smiling at... something. It was creepy, with candles surrounding flowers and pictures that Mahiru took. Most creepy of all, there was a skull on top.

"Wooooooow, what's this!? What an adoooooorable decoration!" Hiyoko exclaimed, "I don't know who did it, but they must've spent so much time and effort doing their best to make it. Kyahahaha! Mahiru's gonna be happy, too! I don't know who did this, but we should be grateful to them! Riiiiiight?"

"Um... Yeah... Cute..." you uttered.

Hajime walked in shortly after you did and froze when he saw the... 'tribute'. He didn't say anything, though.

"Ah... good morning. It's so rare to run into you three here," Mikan said, walking in as well, "Hm-hm-hm, what are you looking at?" Mikan's gaze shifted to the 'tribute'. "... Huh. KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! What are these... these horrifying photos!?"

Everyone else flooded in when they heard Mikan's scream, and they started to talk about the 'tribute'. They said how it was horrifying and that it was disrespectful towards Mahiru.

You glanced at Hiyoko, who looked sad. Maybe... she was probably the one who made it. You remembered how close she and Mahiru were. You walked over to her and patted her head, bending down to reach her height.

"I think it's wonderful. I'm sure that whoever made it loved Mahiru very much," you said in a soft voice.

Hiyoko sniffled and wiped her eyes.

"Y-You really th-think so...?" She stuttered.

You nodded and pulled her into a hug.

"Hey, why don't we go see how Kuzuryu's doing? I'm sure he'll enjoy the company."

"... Okay..."

Hiyoko didn't like Fuyuhiko, but she didn't feel like arguing. She was starting to really like you. You were like Mahiru... Like an older sister...

You took Hiyoko's hand and went to the newest island, where Fuyuhiko probably was. You quickly found the Hospital and went inside. You roamed the hallway, looking for where Fuyuhiko was staying.

You opened one of the doors at random, and that room just so happened to be Fuyuhiko's room. He was laying in bed and looking out the window, one of his eyes covered with an eyepatch. He looked over at you with his only eye, which widened in surprise.

"L/N..." He uttered, his voice a bit hoarse.

"Call me Y/N. How are you doing?" You asked, standing next to the bed so Hiyoko could sit in the chair.

"I'm fine... It's just a scratch..."

"It didn't look like 'just a scratch'. We're all worried about you, Fuyuhiko. Even Hiyoko-"

"No, I'm not!" Hiyoko said quickly, to which Fuyuhiko glared at her.

"You little-" Fuyuhiko began.

"Hey, hey, let's not fight. We've already been through so much in just a few days. Why don't we just talk, m'kay?" You said, a sweet smile on your face.

Hiyoko huffed and held onto your shirt while Fuyuhiko blushed a little.

"Whatever..." they both said.
