Free Time

You and Hiyoko spent more time sleeping than you intended to. You would have woken up earlier if there were any announcements, but Monokuma had temporarily stopped doing them, so you had to rely on the clocks.

You two got out of bed and left the room to see that Hajime was already awake, looking at the clock. You also looked at it. It said that it was 9 a.m. It was the first time that you actually had any free time. But now was a bad time since there really was nothing to do besides explore, sleep, or talk to the others, and you really didn't feel like doing either of those things.

Everyone else, besides Akane, Sonia, Chiaki, Nekomaru, and seemingly Gundham, had other plans. They all wanted to spend time with you, and you didn't understand why. They all ended up getting into an argument, which Nagito tried to resolve only for everyone else to tell him to shut up.

You watched from the side, not knowing what to do, when someone suddenly grabbed your head. When you were pulled around a corner, your mind and heart started to race. Did someone already fall under the pressure of no food? Were you going to die? Was it because you were in those pictures? You looked to see who grabbed you, and it was none other than Gundham. You were about to scream when he slapped a hand over your mouth.

"Silence, mortal!" He said, his eyes narrowing.

Your breathing grew heavy as you slowly pulled away from him, taking shaky steps back.

"H-Hey, Gundham... Do you need something...?" you asked, trying to keep your voice stable.

"Yes, actually. I was wondering..." To your surprise, Gundham looked away, trying to cover his reddening face with his scarf. "If you wanted to... spend time with me..."

For a guy who claims to be an overlord, he gets flustered pretty easily. You'd be lying if you didn't find that kinda cute.

"Oh, why didn't you say so? Of course I'll spend time with you," you replied, your nerves instantly soothing.

Gundham looked at your hand, seeming to be contemplating something, before hesitantly taking it in his own.

"Then... let us go! You should be honored to have been chosen to accompany me, the Supreme Overlord of Ice!" He said, going back to his usual boisterous self, to which you played along.

"Yes, I am! I'm so happy that you chose me of all people."

The two of you walked off. Gundham looked back and smirked, noticing the angry and jealous glares that the others were sending his way.
