"WAIT, so yall are like fucking now?" Bb asked Maddy as they walked down the hallway.
Maddy shrugged, still rereading the text Sevyn had sent her yesterday while sleeping.
Usually, she would feel some type of way when Nate left in the middle of the night but instead Maddy was everything but mad with Sevyn.
"I wouldn't be surprised, all the girls are on Sevyn." Cassie said.
Maddy stopped in her tracks and turned towards her best friend. "Fuck does that mean?"
Cassie's eyes went wide, trying to avoid the question. "Nothing, I just- I think that everyone has a crush on Sevyn."
"And out of all those people who does Sevyn pay attention to the most? Hellooooo, Maddy!" Bb exclaimed.
The Perez girl shook her head as they began to approach Sevyn, who stood in the middle of the parking lot on her phone.
"Whatever, I love you guys." Maddy said to her friends before breaking away from them.
Bb turned to Cassie as they walked to her car. "Bitch, now what the fuck was that?"
"Nothing. I just expressed that Sevyn is kind of..." Cassie trailed off, putting her backpack in the backseats.
"A hoe?" Bb answered.
"Well, kinda. This isnt her first time dealing with a cheerleader."
"And this isnt your first time dealing with a football player so whats the problem?"
Cassie sighed before putting her foot on the gas and driving off.
"Thanks for picking me up by the way. You didn't have to wait till after practice." Maddy said to Sevyn as they walked to the older girl's car.
"It's all good boo and besides, I would always wait for you." Sevyn smiled down at her.
Deep down Sevyn needed a distraction from all the shit that had happened with Mouse the night before. The group of siblings had dropped my high ass off at Jules and they haven't spoken about it since.
"We need to cut her off..." Sevyn mumbled as the two Gain's siblings drove back home.
"Cut who off?" Zero asked, keeping his eyes on the road.
"Rue. That shit that happened tonight can't happen again, she keeps on getting caught up in our shit and we cant let it happen again. It just like with mom-"
"Sevyn. Breathe. Let's just go home and sleep on it...we'll discuss it in the morning." He cut his little sister off and continued to drive in silence.
Maddy and Sevyn's height wasn't that big of a difference but one was taller than the other.
"You have to come to our first game, no ifs or buts!" Maddy joked with Sevyn.
