SEVYNsat in her calculus class with her airpods in both ears. She knew the class wasnt mandotory to graduate, but she was intrested in it.
Learning about money was something that the Gain's girl needed to know about considering what she did outside of the school building.
A harsh tap on her shoulder caused Sevyn to snap out of her daze and looked up at her teacher.
"Finished yet, Gain's?" The teacher asked with a bitchy attitude.
One thing I started to notice about all my drug dealer friends was that they are fucking smart. You could ask them a complicated math question and no matter how hard and difficult it was-
"Here you go sir." Sevyn said while lazily handing the paper to the older man.
She leaned back in her seat, watching her teacher read the paper and mumble to himself.
He finished reading the paper and looked back down at Sevyn.
"Good work Gain's, I'm impressed." He smiled.
They could answer it.
The sound of the lunch bell rung, causing the teens to grab their backpacks and head towards the door.
"Remember, finished homework in by tomorrow!"
Rue and Sevyn walked out of the classroom, both doing their handshake they had since kids.
"I dont get it, how does he like you but hates me?" Rue grumbled to herself.
Sevyn looked over at her friend with a small smile. "Oh cheer up Rue, if you fail you still have next year to pass. Now me? If I fail, I'm fucked."
"If I have to become a drug dealer to get better at math, sign me the fuck up."
The Gain's girl stopped in her tracks to think about what Rue said before laughing to herself.
"Very funny Rue!" Sevyn exclaimed, running after her friend.
The two were now sat with Jules at the lunch table. Sevyn listened to the couples conversation, adding her two cents every once in a while.
Jules had apologized to Sevyn for the first day of school incident multiple times before she told her to stop and it was okay.
Rue and Sevyn's eyes had widened as Jules slid her phone across the table, showing a graphic picture.
"I mean it's huge, right?" Jules asked.
The two curly haired girls looked at each other before Rue picked up the phone, giving it a closer look.
"I dont know, i dont really see much of these...you know I'm...." Sevyn explained before putting up two peace signs and smashing them together to create a "scissoring" effect.
