SEVYNleaned on the hood of Maddy's car, waiting for her to walk out of the school.
From the corner of her eye, she saw Nate and the other football players conversing with each other loudly. Sevyn was secretly thankful for her curly hair that covered her face from others.
It's not like she didn't want to be noticed by anyone, she just didn't want to be noticed by Nate himself. One thing I've always noticed was that Sevyn hated confrontation when she wasn't sober.
I guess the weed made her more confident to stand up for herself.
Maddy walked out of the school, noticing Sevyn leaning on her car. Cassie looked at Sevyn then back at Maddy with a small smirk.
"Bitch, are y'all going on a date?" Cassie whispered in her best friend's ear.
The Perez girl shook her head with flushed cheeks. "No, we're just hanging out."
"You must tell me what happens."
The two continued to head towards their cars but was stopped by Nate's voice.
"Yo, Maddy!"
Maddy hauled and turned towards the boy. "What?"
"Lemme take you out tonight." Nate smiled.
Cassie looked at her friend, wondering what her answer would be.
Now this is where Nate Jacob's world fell apart and realized how big he fucked up. If only he didn't carry so much toxic masculinity and take out his anger in stupid ways.
"Sorry, I already have plans." Maddy shrugged before continuing to head to her car.
Nate's smile dropped as his friends silently laughed at him getting rejected. He continued watching Maddy walk to her car and noticing the other figure standing there.
"Well damn." One of his friends mumbled.
"Shut the fuck up." Nate snapped before getting into his car and driving off.
Maddy finally reached Sevyn who was still on her phone.
When she looked up, she smiled at the Perez girl. "You ready ma?"
Maddy nodded before handing the keys to Sevyn. The two got into the car and Sevyn pulled off.
"You wanna go get food and chill at my place?" Sevyn suggested.
"Actually can we get food and chill at mine? I need a shower really bad." Maddy expressed.
Sevyn turned out the parking lot with one hand, causing Maddy's to blush from a hand on her thigh.
"Whatever you wanna do boo, where you tryna eat?"
"In n out okay?"
"Fuck yeah." Sevyn answered before turning up the radio.
