After Juliana got outside, she answered.
{Juliana, Hop, Victor, and Gloria's phone conversation}
"Hi Juliana" they all greeted.
"Hi guys, Hop I'm glad to see you, how are you doing?"
"I'm doing a whole lot better now, I'm sorry for worrying you" Hop frowned.
"It's okay, Victor and Gloria told me what had happened, so don't worry about it" Juliana assured while smiling.
"Anyway, how are you doing Juliana?" Gloria asks.
"Good, I jjust won my second gym badge" Juliana grinned.
"Awesome, speaking of badges, I just won a ghost badge" Hop says while holding up his ghost badge.
Juliana eyes widen and a big smile grew on her face.
"Hop, that's great, so which gym are you all heading to now?"
"We're going to Ballonlea to challenge Opal" Victor answered.
"Isn't she the fairy type gym leader?"
"Yep, we heard rumors that Ballonlea is home to a bunch of fairy type pokemon, I can't wait to get there" Gloria squealed.
"Haven't we been there before when we were little?" Juliana questioned.
"Yeah, remember when our moms took us to a performance where some fairy type pokemon did a magical show by a trainer who really loved fairy types" Hop reminded.
"That was amazing" Gloria smiled.
Juliana frowned.
"Juliana, is something wrong?" Victor asks in concern.
"Sorry, it's just I finally remembered and it was during the time my parents were together, they were so loving towards each other and always had time for me" Juliana says sadly.
"Oh right, sorry Juliana we won't talk about it no more, we don't want to make you upset" Hop frowned.
"No it's fine, speaking of parents, do you all know how my dad's doing?" Juliana asks in hesitation.
"What our moms told us was that they haven't really seen him because of how much he works" Victor answered.
"Do you all know if he asks about me?"
"I'm afraid not, we're sorry" they all frowned.
Juliana frowned even more, she knew that she wasn't close with her father like she used to be a long time ago, she couldn't deny that deep down she did love her dad even if he's not the best one.
"Juliana?"
She jumped and gave her friends a fake smile.
"I'm fine guys, sorry I was in deep thought"
"Let's really change the subject here, but we got some good news" Victor grinned.
"What's the good news?" Juliana asks in curiosity.
"So, remember that jerk Bede we told you about?" Gloria asks.
"Yeah, what about him?"
"He got disqualified from the gum challenge so he won't be bothering us during our journey" Victor says happily.
"Wait, he got disqualified, why?" Juliana asks in confusion and was shocked.
"He got in trouble"
"What did he do exactly?"
