Gene's eyes darted around the dark room, trying to tell what anything in there was.
His eyes flew to the door when he heard it creak open
"You're awake, this will make this more fun"
"What do you want from me, Zane? I did what you asked"
Zane locked the door behind him and walked towards Gene.
Zane grabbed Gene's chin and forced Gene to look at him
"I asked you to kill the Lord and his family. His wife and son escaped. You failed me, again. You need to learn that you can't keep failing me."
Gene spat in Zane's face, making Zane look at him in disgust.
"You already cut off my fucking ear! What more do you want?"
Zane smiled at Gene, it was a cruel smile.
It was filled with poison
"Oh Gene, you'll find out. I'm going to teach you not to go against anything I say"
Zane dropped Gene's head and walked away, towards a table.
Gene pulled on the chains that held his arms above his head, they hurt.
Gene doesn't know how but somehow Zane managed to get Gene out of his shadow knight form and Gene couldn't change back into it.
Zane grabbed a butchers knife off the table and walked back over to Gene, holding it in front of Gene's face
"What do you think I'm going to do with this Gene?"
"I don't fucken know. Let me go!"
Zane smacked Gene across the face.
The sound of Zane's palm hitting Gene's face rang throughout the room as Gene continued to struggle to get out of the chains holding him.
Zane grabbed the collar of Gene's shirt and placed the blade of the knife against it.
Zane pulled the knife down, cutting down the center of Gene's shirt
"Hey! What the fuck are you doing?"
Zane didn't say anything as the put the blade against the skin of Gene's stomach
Gene struggled to try and get his arms free and get away.
He could feel the sharp blade digging into his skin as Zane pressed down harder
Gene screamed in pain as he felt the knife cut through his skin.
Zane slowly dragged the knife through the skin of Gene's stomach, exposing his guts
"STOP! LET ME GO! I'LL KILL THE LORD'S SON AND WIFE!"
Zane smiled at Genes' screams and pleads for him to stop, it was like music to his ears.
Zane raised the blade and brought it down on Gene's shoulder, hard enough for the knife to stay put when Zane let go of it.
Tears rolled down Gene's cheeks as he tried not to scream again, this was close to the pain he felt when becoming a shadow knight and he couldn't stand it.
Gene watched as Zane rolled his sleeves up to his elbows, exposing the countless scars on Zane's arms from different battles he had been in.
Zane grabbed Gene's chin with one hand and forced Gene to look into his eye
Zane used his other hand to reach into the cut he had made in Gene's stomach
Zane grabbed the first thing he felt and ripped it out.
He keeps Gene's head still as Gene screams out in agony.
Zane continues to rip Gene's guts out until there's nothing left to pull out
Zane backs away from Gene and throws some sort of potion on him, maybe one that would just keep him alive to feel all the pain or something.
Gene can't even struggle against his chains anymore, he's just left hanging there
Zane doesn't say anything as he walks out of the room Gene is chained up in.
Gene doesn't know how long he's going to be locked down here with his guts torn out and spilling onto the floor.
