So many questions were running through Laurance's head as he saw a teenage-looking boy with brownish hair and multicolored eyes with... purple burns on the right side of his face?
It was a strange appearance, but Laurance won't judge. This boy could have been through something traumatizing.
Laurance walks up to the boy, not thinking anything of it until the boy screams and somehow manages to climb up a tree
"Please, leave me alone!"
"Look, I'm not trying to hurt you! I just need help, kid."
"Yeah, right! You have a sword and you look like a thug. I don't trust you one bit!"
"A thug? I'm wearing guard armor...I'm a guard."
"Go away, go away, go away!"
"Please, kid...I just need help figuring out where the heck I am."
The kid said something else but Laurance didn't hear it as he quickly turned around to see someone trying to hit him with a stick
" You dare sneak up on me like that? You-"
Laurance had a look of confusion on his face

But in clothes he had never seen her in before

Aphmau looked up at Laurance, very confused
"Leave Tommy alone. I don't care who you are. Leave Tommy out of this! If you want anyone, take me instead!"
What was she talking about?
Who in Irene's name was Tommy?
Was it this boy?
Laurance quickly hugs Aphmau, only letting her go when he speaks again
"I'm so glad you're here. For a moment...I wasn't sure where I was..."

Laurance felt confused, what did Aphmau mean?
"The last thing I remember was...I was in front of Ungrth's grave lamenting after the battle was over at Scaleswind...Garr...someone hit me and knocked me out. Next thing I know, I've...woken up in a completely different place. On top of that, the amulet you entrusted me with was gone."
Aphmau just looked even more confused, it hurt Laurance
