Zane walked through the woods, Emmalyn following closely behind himHe had put her in cuffs, he wasn't going to let her run off againHe only stopped walking when he saw someone run between two trees
"Why are we stopping?"
"Shut up"
Zane kept glancing back at Emmalyn as he approached the trees
He got up and looked around.... no one was there?
"What the fuck?...."
Zane was confused, he knew he wasn't going crazyWhere had that person gone?
He hears Emmalyn scream and looks over at her
"I told you to shut the fu-"
He cuts himself off when he sees what he can only describe as a ghost
Zane could only see the man's back but he could see a stab wound, blood leaking out of it and down his back
He had messy short brown hair
He was in a red shirt with blue pants and red shoes
It was by no doubt Kenmur
"How is Irene's name are you here."
Zane demanded as he watched Kenmur turn around
There was blood dripping out of his mouth and nose, the goggles on his head shattered
And without another second he disappeared into thin air, leaving behind a sobbing Emmalyn and confused Zane
This continued for weeks
They would see Kenmur everywhere
It destroyed Emmalyn every day, it got so annoying Zane started blindfolding her whenever she wasn't reading for him
It only took a month of this before Zane was too tired of basically having to treat Emmalyn like a dumb child
He took her outside a small village and killed her, hoping that reuniting the dead lovers would make them leave him alone
He didn't know how many problems this would cause for the reborn version of him in thousands of years
