This chapter has some trigger warning. Some very uncomfortable topics.

Emily's POV:

As I'm uncomfortably sitting on the couch with Jeremy right next to me, we wait for the pizza to get there, and I wish it'd get here faster. Jeremy keeps making me uncomfortable.

"How about this movie?" He pointed out another horror movie. I already told him 4 times that I'm not really a fan of horror.

"I'd rather not watch horror. It's not my favorite genera." He shook his head in frustration.

As he continued to search for a movie, the doorbell rang. The pizza is here, thank God. I got up to get the pizza and soda we ordered. As I reached the door, I swung it open, looking outside. Standing there, was a young man with a friendly smile. "Good evening, I have a delivery for an Emily Wilson".

My face lit up with happiness. "Yes, that would be me."

He handed me the box, and I could feel the warmth emanating from it. I gave him the money and thanked him. Closing the door behind me, I carried the pizza to the kitchen table. "The pizza is here, Jeremy!" I hollered into the other room.

As James strolled into the kitchen, he gave me a victorious smile. "I found a comedy. How about you take the pizza into the living room, I'll get the drinks, and we'll watch the movie while we eat?"

I nodded my head with a smile. "Sounds good."

I made my way into the living room, with the movie on pause. I sat there for a few minutes, waiting for Jeremy. "Jeremy! Where are you?" Finally, he made it into the room.

"Sorry, I was um... getting ice." He put the drinks down, and I grabbed the one closest to me, taking a long sip.

As the tv screen started playing the movie, we started digging into the mouthwatering pizza. The combination of flavors, the satisfying crunch of the crust, and the gooey cheese made each bite even better. Jeremy and I actually laughed a lot throughout the movie.

I sat back after having more than enough pizza, I don't know if it was the comfortable atmosphere, or the cozy couch, but I all of a sudden felt tired. "J-Jerm..." That's all I got out before Jeremy shut the tv off.

"Jeez, Em. How much did you drink?" I tried talking, but James lifted me from the couch. "I'll carry you to your bed." No...I don't want to. I tried to push him away, but my arms wouldn't work with me.

Jeremy put me on my bed. "Let's get you comfy." He started looking around my room and opening up my drawers. He pulled out some pajama pants and a tank top. "Come here, I'll help you." I started to squirm away from him. "Come on, stop fighting." I kicked, but he stopped my feet.

He then managed to get my pants around my ankles. "N-no. please." I cried as he continued his assault on me.

"Calm down, I'm just helping you, baby." He then took the rest of my clothes off and removed his pants. I started to scream as he placed his hand over my mouth. "Shh. Shh." At this time, I gave up. I was done, he has succeeded. I was just a toy for this shitty world to use, and there was apparently no changing that, no matter how hard I try.

I'm not sure how long it lasted, but he eventually left me alone and naked in bed. I just laid there, staring at the ceiling, wondering why I have the kind of luck I have, until I couldn't handle it anymore, so I did something to make me forget...

___

With a mix of caution, I texted the number I haven't texted in months...

Emily: Where do you want to meet?

It wasn't even seconds before they texted her back.

Unknown: Meet me at the corner of Main street and Berkeley.

My heart raced as I read the message. I quickly got dressed, slipping my phone in my pocket, and made my way downstairs.

"Hey, Em! Where are you headed?"

I turned and saw Alex and him...

"I'm just going for a walk. Be back real soon, okay?" Before anybody could say anything else, I was out the door. When I showed up, it was bathed in warmth of the summer air, the moon casting a beautiful glow on the world. I scanned the area, trying to spot the familiar person.

"Hey, Emily. Long time, no see." I turned, and there he was.

"Matty, how have you been?" Matty gave a short chuckle.

"I've been good, kid. But we're not here for small talk. We're doing business..."

I nodded my head. "What will $20 get me?"

So, Emily is going through something traumatic, and she's looking to ease the pain, don't judge me. I don't know if it was clear but he put something in her drink and took advantage of her
