chapter 9. dinner and jealousy

Time skip......

Macie's Pov
" Have fun mace let me know when you are on your way back to the hotel or whatever just want to make sure your safe." My uncle says as I'm walking towards the cab on my way to the restaurant slash bar to meet everyone. " I'll be safe, and I'll let you know everything" I say back before I send off a final wave before getting in the cab and telling the driver where to go. I stare at the window as the cars go by wondering what's going to happen tonight hopefully Addie and Trevor like me along with Oliver.

As the cab pulls up to the place, I'm meant to go to I get nervous, but I quickly push those nerves away telling myself it's okay. I pay the driver and walk up to the place hearing some loud music I open the door and see Trevor and Addie sitting at the table with her phone to her ear. " he's not picking up and he's late as well what's taking him so long" Addie complains before her eyes meet with mine and she bursts out in a smile yelling " Macie!!!! You came it's good to see you again especially since the witch isn't here" she says hugging me along with Trevor. " Yeah, it's much better here than it was back at the meeting" I say with a smile as I hug back, and we all go and sit at the table. " Yeah, your the only one so far that's shown up Oliver hasn't shown up and hasn't responded to my messages or calls I don't know what's up with him so I'm sorry in advance it was supposed to be a get to know one another thing" Addie says frustration showing on her face as Trevor tries to comfort her.
I smile trying to not show my disappointment in the fact Oliver isn't here before saying " it's alright he might show up before the night is over why don't we just talk and get to know one another for a while and maybe he will show up probably got busy with something" I say trying to ease everything cause i was looking forward to it and hanging out with Oliver as well. She nods her head sitting her phone down before she starts asking me questions up until the Waiter came to take our orders for food and stuff once he's gone Addie asks me something I wasn't thinking she'd ask. " so do you have a boyfriend or a crush on someone " she asks as she eats her food I then Answer with " no I'm single I just got out of a relationship because he cheated on me with my friend " I say eating my food her eyes go wide and her jaw drops at the statement. " your kidding!!! No way that's just horrible what a bad friend as well I'd never do that to my friends" she says in shock before coming to my side and hugging me and returning to the other side where Trevor was. " it's alright I think I'm over it plus I've blocked both of them because I don't want to hear anything from both of them" I say picking at my food as I wait for her reply.
" well that's good now you got some new friends me and Trevor maybe even Oliver cause he just got out of a relationship as well and honestly I never liked her either I tried to once but it never happened she would start things and her friends don't get me started on them they are just as bad as she is " Addie says Trevor nodding his head in agreement before he says something after her. " yeah she's even tried to hit on me along with her friends and I told Olie about it but he was really mad so they took a break before getting back together up until now since they probably won't ever get back together " he says before Addie adds in " almost had to attack her that day only been in one fight with her and she started it but I won huh babe" Addie says looking at Trevor who nodded to confirm what she said was true. Before I could say anything, I saw a person in the corner of my eye and when I realized who it was, I got up and ran to him jumping into his arms. " Why are you here and why didn't you tell me you were going to be here ash" I said trying to be mad at my older brother, but he knows I couldn't ever be mad at him for very long.
" I wanted to surprise you mace guess it worked didn't know you were going to be here though" my brother says hugging me back tightly. " Why are you here though thought u had business back in America I say as I let go of the hug and stood in front of him. " Well, I'm working with a popular popstar now I'm going on tour with him as well I'm sure you know him, Oliver Thomas?" He says then my eyes widen at his remark. " Oliver Thomas? I'm working with him as well going on tour with him too" I say, and his smile brightens at my statement.
" Guess we will be working together then didn't know you were working with him uncle didn't mention anyone when we spoke last" he says taking a sip of his drink.
Then I realized I left my friends waiting and I say " want to meet the rest of the people going on tour I left them when I spotted you" I say with a smile, and he nods following me back to the table where Trevor and Addie had wide eyes when they saw ash. " Hey guys sorry I ran off I want you to meet- but I was cut off by Trevor " your your ash Parker " he stutters with wide eyes in shock. Ash smiles before saying " that I am guess you know me it's nice to meet you?" Then Trevor breaks from his trance " I'm Trevor and this is my fiancé Addie" he says shaking hands with my brother.
" it's lovely to meet you both I guess u are friends with Macie hope your treating my sister well" he says after letting go of their hands and they both gasp before saying " his sister!!" I smile and nod my head replying " Yup I'm his little sister" I say with a smile as we all sit down together making small talk waiting for Oliver to arrive at some point.

Oliver's Pov:
"What did u just say!!! Tour starts in two to three weeks!!!" I say loudly pulling my hair and pacing back and forth. " Oliver calm down it's going to be okay you only have written a few songs which you have done, and I wish I could tell them no but it's out of my hands I'm only here to manage you and stuff you could probably ask them not to, but you know management" Carson says trying to calm me down from the whole freak out.
I sigh stopping my pacing and turn facing Carson I then reply " yeah it will be fine but I don't know if what I have is enough it's enough for an album maybe I just need a little more I could probably make two more before tour starts I'd just need to be in here every day" I say sitting back down stressed out cause tour starts sooner than I wanted it to start. Carson rubs my shoulder trying to calm me down even more before saying " I know Olie I'll help you the best that I can maybe we can even hire someone to help with writing " he says trying to help calm me since it's stressful I nod my head agreeing with him before I say " alright let's get to work then cause I don't have much longer I need to be out to see Trevor and Addie along with Macie in" I say checking my phone but once I did I realized I needed to out long ago my eyes widen as I book it yelling " I'm late I'm late we will have to do this later sorry Carson" I yell as I book it to the restaurant which isn't far from me.

As I approached, I saw Trevor and Addie I opened the door and head straight over to their table and they looked up in shock.
" Before you say anything yes, I know I'm late and I'm sorry for, but some stuff happened, and management called, and we are going on tour in two to three weeks" I say sitting in front of them I watch their eyes grow in shock. " What? Already but we were supposed to be on break for a bit longer why all of sudden" Addie says confused and stressed. " she's right why all of sudden? You haven't written anything yet so why go on tour when it won't be anything new" Trevor says rubbing addies shoulders to calm her down. I sigh running fingers through my hair " I've written some songs actually which could be why and plus we got a new person to the group to help recording and stuff" I say as I watch their faces change before they could respond I ask, " so where's Macie or is she running late as well?" I ask then Addie says with a smile " she's actually with the person you mentioned ash Parker I believe she's right over there at the bar" she says and points my eyes follow and see her laughing with the man and he's laughing as well. I start to see red cause I'm jealous, but I won't admit it to anyone unless they somehow get it from me. I turn back and see Addie and Trevor smirking at me knowingly and I just blush here comes the teasing I thought to myself great job at hiding it, Oliver. " Someone seems jealous that Ms. Macie is with another dude" Addie teases and Trevor laughs while my face is beat red. " I'm not jealous Addie I'm good as good can be" I say nervously hoping they buy it. " it's okay to be jealous I've seen the way you look at her you must really like her to be jealous " Trevor says and I sigh guess I can't hide it anymore because I so like her, I just don't know if she likes me the same way.
I then say " I do like her a lot ever since we met, I just feel like she's different" I say before a waiter comes over to take my order and hand me a water. I see Addie look at me with a gentle smile before saying " I think you might have a chance just don't blow it with her cause she seems nice in fact I'll go find out if she feels the same scoot over babe" Addie says and he does so even though he tries to stop her but she's dead set on finding out. I sigh as Trevor looks at me with a face of " I tried I'm sorry man".
" it's okay Olie I really did try but you know her once she's set on something she's going to find out" Trevor says taking a sip of his water and I just watch Addie Walk on over.
" I probably don't have a chance because it seems she adores ash Parker by the looks of it" I say Trevor only smirks knowingly and doesn't dare say a word which confuses me.
