macies Pov:

After months of uncertainty, I can finally say that Oliver and I are officially dating. He opened up to me about Addie and Trevor's scheme, admitting that it was mostly her idea all along.
The next day, I made Addie squirm, pretending nothing had transpired between Oliver and me. We simply played board games while waiting for the power to return, which took ages. When I mentioned this, Addie dashed to his dressing room. Concerned, I followed, wondering what she had in store for my boyfriend. Bursting into the room with me trailing behind, she confronted Oliver, unaware of our plan.

"Why didn't you ask out Macie like you were supposed to, Oliver? You even like her! How could you mess up my plan?" Addie scolded, arms crossed and expression stern. Oliver and I shared a laugh, catching her off guard. Before she could question my presence, Oliver interjected.

"We really got you, huh, babe?" Oliver chuckles as he wraps his arms around me, and I melt into his embrace, holding back laughter at Addie's stunned face. Her jaw drops to the floor as she shrieks with delight!
In the following days, Addie never lets me forget the prank, but over time, she comes to terms with the fact that Oliver and I are together. In the end, her scheme did work out after all.

Before long, my schedule becomes jam-packed as we hit the road for the tour. There's a mountain of work waiting for me, including tasks Carson roped me into that go beyond just photography.
Unfortunately, with the tour in full swing, Oliver and I hardly have time to connect. Carson assures me that I'll get a breather soon. My uncle has also stepped in to lend a hand with my workload, recognizing how tirelessly I've been working.

Despite rumors circulating about Oliver rekindling things with his ex-girlfriend, I choose to ignore the gossip. I have complete trust in him, even though I've seen photos of them together. My trust in him is unwavering, so he doesn't need to fret about me believing any of those rumors.

I received an exciting email from a publisher expressing interest in publishing the book I've been laboring over, a project made possible with Oliver's support. Completing this book was no small feat, and I take pride in its completion. I informed the publisher of my enthusiasm but requested to wait until the tour wraps up in a few months. Luckily, she understood and even offered to arrange a meeting if I had a change of heart before then.

I haven't told Oliver that i will be joining him on his break since after tonight all my works done so the next few months, he will have more of me. I will be telling him tonight at dinner since I'm making his favorite meal that I have made him over and over. he knows we have plans for tonight so it will be an easy surprise for him when he walks through the doors to the hotel room.

time skip....

"Okay, Macie, have a great night. Oliver will be finished soon; he just has a few things to take care of, but he should be ready shortly," Carson informs me as the concert draws to a close. My ride has arrived, as the crew typically leaves before the artists. Normally, I'd wait for Oliver, but tonight, since he thinks it's date night, I'm planning a surprise for him instead. I give a nod as I gather my things and head towards the waiting car that will take me back to the hotel.

Before long, I'm in the kitchen preparing dinner, whipping up some fried chicken and homemade mashed potatoes. Once dinner is ready, and the table is set, I opt to enhance the atmosphere by lighting candles and changing into a dress before his arrival. After everything is perfectly arranged on the table - from the food to the wine glasses - I double-check that everything is in place before making my way downstairs.

Seated at the table, I glance at my phone and notice that he's running a bit behind schedule, likely caught up with fans and traffic. Understanding that it's out of his control, I decide to move to the couch, tuning into the news while I wait for him to arrive.

hours later....

I slowly wake up from I guess falling asleep which I didn't realize I fell asleep I then rub the sleep out of my eyes and yawn really quick as I try and find my phone to see what time it was. i eventually find my phone and it was on the table I unlock it to check the time and I see that it was midnight way past the time he was supposed to be home which was around nine pm since his concert ended at that time my eyes widen at the time but then see I have notifications as soon as I opened them I wished I hadn't because it was article after article... I then click on a gossip channels video because this couldn't be real...

As the heartbreaking news flashes across the screen, insinuating a potential breakup between Me and Oliver, my whole world shatters. Seeing the images of Oliver and his ex-girlfriend together, holding hands and kissing, brings me to tears. I feel overwhelmed and decide to make a sudden departure. I quickly inform Carson of my need for a break and start packing my bags, booking a ticket for that very night.IIn the cab, I quickly contact the publisher, explaining my wish to speed up the book process and seeking her support. Despite my phone buzzing non-stop with messages from Addie and Carson, questioning my sudden departure, all I manage to say is to check Twitter and other social media platforms because, at that moment, I couldn't bring myself to explain further.

the last message I wrote was on Instagram and to Oliver before I blocked him from all that I had. you might even be wondering why not give him a chance to explain himself, but I can't he was supposed to meet me at our place but instead he was busy doing other things.

After our arrival at the airport, I noticed paparazzi eagerly waiting for a statement, prompted by my cryptic tweet about leaving. Managing to slip past unnoticed by donning a sweatshirt and a hat to conceal my appearance, I made my way inside, escaping the prying lenses. Heading towards my flight back home to America, I couldn't shake the feeling of finality as I boarded the plane. Trusting Oliver completely during our brief five-month relationship, tears welled up as I realized it was truly over between us.

As the plane ascended, the finality of the situation hit me hard. The realization sank in that Oliver had lost me for good due to his betrayal, particularly with an ex who had only taken advantage of him. In stark contrast, I had genuinely loved him for who he was, making the pain of his infidelity all the more agonizing.

getting lost in thought I decided to watch a movie and just relax since this will be a long flight....
