soon enough Addie comes running with a grin on her face as she walks into the dressing room that I have been in waiting for her to show up with the outfit she had made for me." Sorry I'm late i needed to finish really fast and when the stage people told me to hurry up i was making the last-minute touch ups and don't worry this will fit you otherwise, we have time to make adjustments" she says out of breath as she shoves me into the little bathroom that's attached to the room, and she goes. " Go on try it on and then come back out here you are going to absolutely love it" she squeals as I walk into the bathroom I lock the door.I say a silent little prayer that Addie is right and that I will love this dress that she made for me to use to perform in. I can't believe I'm about to perform in front of millions of people!!!I try to calm my nerves as I head into the changing room aka the bathroom that's connected to the room. I then put the outfit that's in a dry cleaner's bag of sorts and unzip the outfit and I can't believe my eyes at the outfit she really out done herself on this I'm blown away! The dark navy blue ombre off-the-shoulder dress paired perfectly with silver glitter heels. As I leisurely prepared in the stunning outfit, I noticed the matching accessories. A navy-blue heart locket necklace, blue dangling earrings, and a silver infinity heart bracelet completed the ensemble. After admiring myself in the mirror, surprised by how everything came together beautifully, I heard a loud knock on the door, accompanied by Addie's urgent voice. "Hurry up, Macie! I need to do your makeup and hair before the final sound check," she exclaimed. I responded, albeit realizing she couldn't see me through the closed door. "Just a moment! I'll be right out so you can work your magic once again," I called out. Opening the door, I found Addie setting up the makeup and hair station. As she turned around, she was taken aback by my appearance, her eyes wide with shock. "You look amazing! I can't believe it. You truly can rock any outfit, even one thrown together last minute," she praised, still amazed. With a smile, she guided me to sit down so she could work her magic on my hair and makeup. So, what song are you going to perform tonight?" Addie inquired as she began styling my hair, creating a curly look with a braid in the middle. "It's a new song, unheard by anyone yet. Tonight will be its debut," I shared as she completed my hair. "Hmm, can you tell me the name of the song, or is it a surprise for everyone?" Addie questioned, picking up her makeup brushes and palettes, covering the mirror to keep her work a secret. "I'll give you a hint. It's a love song with a twist, like a journey to find love amidst challenges," I teased, and she nodded with a smile. "So, that's all I get until tonight?" she probed as she finished my makeup. I nodded, mentioning a meeting for sound check to finalize details since I didn't have recorded backing tracks. Addie stepped aside, gasping at her work. "I did an amazing job. Maybe Carson will be so impressed he'll give me a raise?" she joked. I chuckled and asked to see her work before heading to sound check. As she unveiled the mirror, I was stunned by the transformation. The dark blue shade with glitter accents enhanced my features, with a subtle eye highlight and light lipstick completing the look. I couldn't stop admiring her talent in the mirror, thoroughly impressed by her skills."Alright, Macie, as tempting as it is to admire my masterpiece, you have to head out for sound check and make sure everything's in order before the concert tonight," Addie remarked with a smile. I nodded in agreement because she was right; I needed to ensure everything was set for the performance. Going in unprepared would be like walking into the unknown, especially since this is my first time doing something like this. Before long, a knock sounded at the door, signaling it was time for sound check. Addie's encouraging words echoed as she cheered, "Good luck! You've got this in the bag!" I smiled, heading towards sound check, hoping for the best and clinging to her confidence in me since I was a bundle of nerves.

"Dude, no need to be nervous about tonight. She's going to be amazing, I promise," Carson reassured me as we wrapped up the final tracks and set list for the concert. It's a mix of new songs, some unreleased, that will soon be out in the world. I'm both excited and anxious about this new chapter since it's been a while since my last album, especially after the break and breakup that affected me more than it should have. Feeling the stress and nerves, I ran my hands through my hair, not just because of Macie's performance but also due to my own return to the stage after everything that happened. "I believe she'll be fantastic, but I hope everyone gives her a fair chance despite the hate. And I'm a bit jittery about my performance too, given the long break," I admitted, removing my headphones and stepping out of the recording room. Carson chuckled at my words, shaking his head and teasing me with a smirk, reminding me of my talent and fan love. "Olie, you're an incredible singer and a big star. It's natural to have nerves, even if it's about Macie opening for you," he said, his playful tone earning a pillow throw that landed on his chest, making him laugh."I'm just concerned because this isn't something she's used to, Carson. For me, it's routine after many years in the industry. I really want this performance to go smoothly. Plus, she's unaware about the meet and greet, right?" I asked, noticing that Carson hadn't informed her about it. It made me nervous thinking about how things might unfold, especially since she's not well-known, and sadly, some even dislike her for reasons unknown. I can't grasp why there's animosity towards her; she's truly exceptional in every aspect, with an incredible personality and talent that shines through her heartfelt singing. Lost in admiration for her, Carson's cough brings me back to reality, his smirk evident as he teases me. "Already getting lost in thoughts about her, huh? She doesn't need to attend since she's not a public figure like you. Technically, it's your meet and greet," Carson reassured me, trying to alleviate my concerns. His words make sense, but I can't shake off the desire to shield her from any potential harm, especially after what happened when she was unfairly targeted before we left for the airport.Carson rose from his seat as a knock echoed through the door and swiftly answered it, turning back to me with a sense of purpose. "Time for sound check. We need to ensure everything's in order. Do you have the set list ready for tonight? And don't worry, Oliver, security measures are tighter now after the incident at the airport. She's in good hands," Carson reassured me. I got up, letting out a sigh of relief as I acknowledged his words, hoping for the best. "Yes, I have the set list for tonight. I truly hope you're right," I replied, falling into step behind him as we headed for the sound check.
