Author's Note: As this chapter draws to a close, I wanted to include this moment before the upcoming wedding, which will unfold in the next section seamlessly. (also, this is to make up for things being short I hope you enjoy!!!)

no one's Pov:

"She's gone, Oliver! She won't even respond to my messages. Why would you cheat on my best friend?!" Addie's voice echoes with fury, her words laced with betrayal and disbelief. She screams, attempting to launch herself at Oliver before he can utter a single word, his own tears streaming down his face, consumed by guilt and remorse.

"Hey, calm down, babe. Let him explain before we jump to conclusions. I'm curious to hear what explanation he's got," Trevor interjects, gently restraining Addie as she struggles to break free, her emotions running high.

Oliver's sigh was heavy, a mix of frustration and sorrow evident in his demeanor. "It was all a setup. I just wanted a simple, nice dinner at our favorite place for our date night," he explains, his voice trembling with emotion. "But things got out of hand. The paparazzi and fans were everywhere, chaos unfolding as security tried to regain control. I felt suffocated, no way out of the madness." His expression darkens as he mentions Ella, bitterness seeping into his words. "Then she appeared, causing a scene. I knew I had to leave, no matter what. The cameras and rumors didn't matter to me. But as I turned to go, she grabbed my hand, forcing a kiss on me. I was stunned, managed to pull away, but the damage was done. A moment captured in a photo, distorting the truth." His voice breaks as he recounts trying to reach Macie, only to be met with voicemail, fearing the worst as he navigated through the crowd. "When I arrived at the hotel, she was gone. I had lost her," Oliver finishes, his tears flowing freely, a mixture of heartbreak and anger echoing in his sobs as he laments losing Macie, blaming it all on Ella.

Trevor, Addie, and Carson absorbed Oliver's words, a sense of empathy washed over them, softening their expressions. Addie, in particular, felt a pang of guilt welling up inside her as she realized the extent of Oliver's pain. Tears glistened in her eyes, silently reflecting her remorse for the role she unknowingly played in his turmoil. The weight of the situation settled heavily on her heart, causing her to falter and tears to trickle down her cheeks.

As Trevor released her, Addie moved swiftly to Oliver's side, taking a seat beside him. Tenderly, she began to rub his back, offering him comfort as he wept, his cries echoing in the room. With a gentle embrace, she enveloped him, letting him lean on her shoulder as he repeated through tears, "I've lost her," his words heavy with sorrow and regret.

silence with sounds from Oliver crying Addie then speaks up in a whisper which causes Oliver to look at her as she speaks her peace. "Oliver, go after her. Tell her the truth. You don't have to lose her forever unless you don't love her anymore. If that's the case, don't chase her just to string her along," Addie says with a seriousness that cuts through the air.

Oliver's expression shifted with determination as he absorbed Addie's words, understanding the gravity of the situation. He turned to Carson, whose concerned expression mirrored his own inner turmoil. "I know this might not sit well with management, especially with the tour approaching, but I can't ignore this. I have to go after her and make things right," Oliver declared, his voice resolute. Carson's face softened into a smile, his support unwavering. "You go get that girl, Oliver, and I better receive a wedding invite after all of this," Carson joked, his eyes twinkling. As Oliver embraced him in gratitude, tears streaming down his cheeks, he couldn't hold back his emotions any longer.

Driven by a torrent of emotions, Oliver bolted out the door, abandoning any thought of gathering his belongings. The urgency of his love for Macie consumed his every thought as he swiftly arranged for his private jet to depart. As he settled into his seat on the plane, the weight of his longing for Macie pressed heavily on his chest. With trembling hands, he clutched the ring box, a symbol of his unwavering commitment to her. His fingers traced its edges delicately, his heart aching with the desire to make things right.
In the confines of the plane, surrounded by the hum of the engines, Oliver whispered the words like a fervent prayer. "I'm coming for you, Macie. Please, find it in your heart to forgive me. If you do, I swear I'll never let you go again." The ring box seemed to pulse with the weight of his emotions, a silent promise of a future together. Though their time together had been brief, the depth of his feelings for her resonated deep within his soul, an unshakeable certainty that she was the one he wanted to share his life with, now and forever.
