(King Candy's POV)

I am in my throne room, pacing worriedly. It has been a while now, and Wynnchel and Duncan still haven't come back with Vanellope. Sour Bill is following me with a lollipop fan. I would try to take my mind off of my anxiety by checking in on (Y/n) every once in a while. She would be sleeping peacefully on her bed every time I checked on her. Every time I see her, my anxieties vanish. But here I am now, still waiting. The castle doors open, and I look to see Wynnchel and Duncan entering.

"Did you find her? Tell me you found her," I say, but Wynnchel shakes his head solemnly. "You didn't?"

Where is that glitch?! She and Ralph couldn't have just vanished into thin air! I laugh hopelessly.

"Go. Leave me," I tell them, and they leave.

I think about what to do now. If Vanellope enters that race, everything will be ruined, and (Y/n) will never forgive me when she finds out about what I did. That's when I remember what (Y/n) said about the deal Vanellope made with Ralph. I get an idea, and I go through a door by my kart throne, with Sour Bill following me, to enter an elevator. I press a button for us to go down, and when the door opens, we walk along what looks like the inside of a wire. We approach a large door, and I pull out a napkin from Tapper's. On the napkin is the Komani code. I type in the code as Sour Bill ties a licorice rope around my waist, and the door opens to reveal the code room.

"Oh, the code. It's the sweet lifeblood of the game," I say before jumping in.

The physics are different in this place, so I'm able to float in zero gravity. I cautiously drift through a node graph that contains an endless number of vault-like boxes, trying to find what I'm looking for.

"Where are you? Stadium, no. Jumbotron," I mutter until I finally find what I'm looking for. "There it is. The winner's cup."

I double-click the box labeled "Winner's Cup," and it opens. Inside floats a bunch of boxes labeled "Coin" that are interconnected with wires. I scroll through them, looking for the one that stands out.

"One of these things is not like the others. . . It's you!" I say, and I grab the "Medal" box out of the Winner's Cup box. "I'm going to give you a nice new home."

I float up to a very special box that's labeled "King Candy," which is connected with the most number of wires. I double-click it, and it opens. I slide the "Medal" box inside, hoping this will work. A string of ones and zeroes appear around my neck until it solidifies into Ralph's medal. It worked!

"Success!" I cheer and chuckle happily, and then I tug the rope to signal Sour Bill to pull me out. "Sour Bill, I'm going out. You're in charge of the castle until I get back."

(Third Person POV)

There is one box all by itself with no wires attached to it. Its label says "Vanellope von Schweetz."
