(Third Person POV)

Turbo screams when he looks down at himself and sees that Vanellope's glitch has gotten to him! Vanellope leans back against her seat in fear, and (Y/n) protectively wraps her arms around her.

"What the. . . Who are you?!" she shouts, and Turbo smirks evilly at her.

"I'm Turbo, the greatest racer ever!" he replies. "And I did not reprogram this world to let YOU AND THAT HALITOSIS-RIDDLED WARTHOG TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME!!"

He grabs (Y/n)'s arm and yanks her behind him. She holds onto the crown on the back of his kart, one of her legs hooked around one end and her arms wrapped tightly around the other, for dear life. Turbo steps on the gas pedal hard, causing Vanellope's kart to fall on its side, and he aims for a wall separating a fork in the road, intending to kill Vanellope!

"Turbo-tastic!" he laughs. "End of the line, glitch!"

"No! Leave her alone!" (Y/n) shouts.

(Y/n) is trying so hard not to let go, but she can feel her strength wearing out by the second. Turbo looks over his shoulder at (Y/n), and his glare turns into a horrified expression when he sees her holding on for dear life. He uses one hand to keep driving his kart while using the other hand to reach behind him and grab (Y/n)'s upper arm.

     "Hold on!" he shouts.

Before (Y/n) can react, Vanellope suddenly glitches to the left of the fork.

"No!" Turbo yells, and he swerves to the right, bouncing off the wall.

This causes (Y/n) to fall off the kart and bounce on the ground quite a few times, until she finally lands flat on her back. She could've sworn she saw gummy stars floating above her head.

(Turbo's POV)

I stop my kart when I feel (Y/n)'s arm slip out of my grasp, and I hop out to run to her.

"(Y/n)!" I say, worried about her.

She lets out a weak moan in response. She has a few bleeding scrapes on her arms and legs. I gently lift her head up to help her sit up, and she rubs her head.

"Are you okay?" I ask her.

She looks at me and it seems that she is just about to answer when I suddenly glitch into my true self for a split second, and she glares at me and stands up, dusting herself off.

"Am I okay? Am I okay?! You lied to me! You manipulated me! You tried to kill Vanellope because you wanted to keep your precious reputation as the greatest racer ever alive! No, Turbo, I am not okay!" she shouts angrily.

I was a little taken aback by her outburst, but I couldn't blame her for being angry. And now, because of my idiotic mistakes, I'm about to lose the only woman I've ever loved.

"Please, (Y/n), let me explain—" I try to say.

"No! You already told me too many lies! I thought you were this sweet, bubbly king who cared for everyone around him, including me, but it was all just a façade. I trusted you, Turbo. Not only did I trust you, but I even fell in love with yo—" she stops herself by clapping her hands over her mouth, her eyes wide and brimming with heartbroken tears.

My eyes widen when I hear (Y/n) say that. She fell in love with me? I feel guilt well up inside me, as I know I just broke her heart.

"I'm such an idiot," she mutters, and starts to walk off.

I hold the necklace she made for me in my hands. I feel my heart break as I read the words, and I look at (Y/n). She's getting closer to the exit. I have to do it now.

"(Y/N), I LOVE YOU!" I scream, finally confessing my feelings for her.

(Y/n's POV)

I stop dead in my tracks when I hear Turbo scream that, and I turn to look at him. Did he really just say that?

"What?" I ask, wondering if I heard correctly.

He sighs, and slowly walks toward me.

"This is the truth," he says. "When I first met you, I felt something I never thought I would feel. When I found you unconscious and hurt, I was worried and afraid because I cared about you for some reason I couldn't explain. As I got to know you, my feelings grew stronger. And when you gave me this necklace, I realized I had fallen in love with you, but I also felt awful because I was keeping secrets from you. I understand if you won't believe me when I say this, but I do love you. You're kind, caring, loving, sweet, adventurous, and you're the most beautiful woman I've ever met. I truly do love you."

I stare at Turbo with wide eyes. He loves me back? What if this is another one of his tricks? But then I see tears welling up in his eyes, and as I look deep into his eyes, I can see that he's not lying. I feel a small smile form on the corner of my lips.

"Turbo, I—" I start to say, but then I hear a loud thud behind me.

I turn around, and I scream when I see a huge Cy-Bug from the Hero's Duty game in front of me! The Cy-Bug is just about to attack me when I feel a hand grab my wrist and pull me back! I look to see that Turbo has saved me.

"What is that thing?!" he shouts as we back away, his hand still gently gripping my wrist as he glitches out of panic.

"I think that's a Cy-Bug from the game Hero's Duty, the game that got plugged in just recently!" I shout, terrified.

"What is it doing in Sugar Rush?!" Turbo shouts as the Cy-Bug tries to get into the mines, but thankfully, it is too big to fit.

"That's the wrong question. What do we do?" I ask.

We both try to find a way to escape. That's when we spot Turbo's kart a few feet away from us. We look at each other and smile, getting the same idea. We hop into the kart, with him in the driver's seat and me sitting behind him the same way I sat on Vanellope's kart, and I hold on tight to the crown on the back of the kart.

     "Ready?" he asks.

"Well. . ." I reply as I look at the Cy-Bug still trying to get into the mines.

"Hold on," he says, and steps on the gas pedal hard.

We drive toward the exit incredibly fast toward the exit and toward the Cy-Bug. The Cy-Bug opens its mouth, ready to eat us. However, Turbo swerves to left, driving around the Cy-Bug, and the creature misses us. We laugh and cheer as we ride the track.
