Tanjiro POV
I stood on the top of a hill, waiting for Y/N-san. A small huffing breath came from behind me, I looked to see Y/N-san. A small tear fell from my eyes as I looked at them. "Are you okay Tanji?" They asked me quietly, looking at me. I stepped forward and looked at them with a frown. "I'm moving Y/N-san.." Their eyes widened in shock as I stepped towards them. "Where?" They said looking at the ground and tears fell onto the ground as they cried. "New York, I'll have to leave everything behind and start all over." I said glaring at the ground. 'Why is it always me?! When I find someone I love. They always leave! Is it really their fault? Or is it my fault?' I thought as I silently cried. My body moved on its own and I kissed Y/N-san's forehead.
Y/N POV
"New York, I'll have to leave everything behind and start all over." He said said, 'Why is it always me?! When I find someone I love. They always leave! Is it really their fault? Or is it my fault?' I thought as I silently cried. I felt a pair of lips on my forehead, I looked up and saw Tanjiro kiss my forehead, I smiled and hugged him crying into his chest/stomach/neck/shoulder. He hugged back. We stood like that for a good ten minutes before his phone rang. "Hello?" He called through his phone, I couldn't hear the second voice properly but it sounded female. "Y/N-san, that was Nezuko, I've got to go now." As he said those words and they left his mouth, I tightened my grip on him. "You can't leave me." I said clinging onto him. "I promise to come back." He said to me, I nodded and made him pinky promise.

It's been four years since Tanjiro left me, I've been working real hard for him. We do facetime and all that but most of the time either one is tired and needs rest but not any more. Today was his flight back, he'll land anytime soon. I ran to the airport not wanting to be late. Once I got there my breath hitched and I felt like fainting, my face turned pink.
I saw Tanjiro and I'm not going to lie after all these years he looks fine as hell. He's body was well built and you could see his abs poking through his shirt. He still held his kind, gentle face but the one thing i missed the most was his big, bright warm smile. I was day dreaming about Tanjiro I didn't notice him walking to me. "Hey cherry blossom." His voice has gotten deeper but in a good way. My cheeks flushed red as I smiled back, "Tanji! I missed you!" I embraced him into a hug as tears made there way to my eyes as Tanjiro's warm aura felt familiar and very comforting.
