Chelsea begin to open her eyes while shading them with her hands because the sun was beaming through her window from the early morning sunrise. She begin to hear sounds of crying and whimpers from the hall, she knew it wasn't Lit Charles because she could also hear his video game going, which is something he did bright and early every morning on the weekends. Chelsea begins heading up the hall , "Turn that TV down boy, you ain't deaf sho!" Chelsea tells Lit Charles. Lit Charles jumped out of fright because Chelsea had startled him. "Okay , you coming to play with me this morning?" Charles asks. "Nahh, maybe later on ." Chelsea answers. "You just know ima win." says Lil Charles with his little grin on his face. Chelsea just chuckled and walks off.

That little grin Charles does melts Chelsea heart, she loved her baby brother so much. Chelsea was more like a mom to Charles not his sister and Lil Charles would quite often tell Chelsea that too.

Chelsea continues up the hallway the closer she gets to Sheila's room, the louder the cry becomes. "Ma, what's the matter?" Chelsea asks in her sensitive voice. Chelsea loved her mom. No matter what Sheila does, how many arguments and all the harsh things she may say Chelsea simply loved Sheila. "We have two weeks to get out Chels and ion know what ima do." Sheila answers, with her face still buried in the pillow. "Ma it'll be okay you'll figure something out you always do." "I don't know about this time, it's a lot of money." "How far behind are we ma?" Chelsea asks with a suspicious but fearing look on her face. "3 months Chelsea , 3 months !" Sheila answers looking directly into Chelsea eyes.

Chelsea could see the fear in her mothers eyes because she truly didn't know how she was going to do it this time. 4 months ago Sheila had lost her job working at a local restaurant as a waitress. She made plenty money her tips were amazing and her paycheck was decent. Sheila made ends meet, but she still had that bad drug ,drinking and clubbing habit, so she never saved any money for a rainy day and it had come back to bite her in the rump. Chelsea didn't respond to her mom right then because she realized that it was a big possibility that they could be evicted this time for sure.

"I guess I'll have to ask Trey and see what he says because he don't mind helping us out at all." Chelsea says. "I don't like you relying on your boyfriend so much, he's still a child and so are you." Sheila says looking down at her nails. "Well I'll call and ask dad to see if he'll give us something." Chelsea answers. "Fuck Big Charles if he was doing what suppose to do in the beginning I wouldn't be in the situation I'm in right now, I hate your daddy I really do, he can suck outta my ass! Sheila says with an extremely mean face expression. "Well ma what you gone do then cause we in deep this time." "Ion know but I damn sho ain't calling him, I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of thinking I need him." "Okay momma." Chelsea says while getting up to walk out of Sheila's room. "Shut my damn doe behind you." Sheila yells at the back of Chelsea. Chelsea knew her mom was mad that she brought their dads name up to her, Sheila's pride often brought things upon her that could be avoided but that's just how she was. Chelsea went into the kitchen to fix her and Lit Charles a bowl of cereal. "Come on eat Lit Charles." She yells down the hall. Lil Charles come running down into the kitchen "I hope it's Captain Crunch, that's my favorite." Lil Charles says while looking into the bowl. "Yes!" Lit Charles says with an excited look on his face. Lil Charles loved cereal period. He could eat it breakfast, lunch and dinner if you let him. "When you get done go wash your teeth and brush your face." Chelsea says peering into her phone. Lil Charles fell out laughing "What did you just say Chels." "You know what I meant sho." Chelsea says laughing at herself as well. Chelsea was on Facebook. Two girls she went to school with were arguing and they was telling each other business. Nothing unusual for the girls at her school. Then a text message pops up from Trey "Cookout at my house at 6 you wanna come over here instead?" , "Yup me & Lil Charles will be there after while." Chelsea replies ."Aite, bay." Chelsea went into Lil Charles room found him some clothes and laid them on the bed so he can get dressed. She walked on down the hall to her room and then there was a knock on the door. "Guh open this door shit it's hot out here and I gotta piss." Chelsea recognized the voice. It was Tanya from up the street. She was headed towards the door but suddenly Sheila's room door opened "I'm coming guh, wait a minute dammit." Sheila yells back at Tanya. Sheila was fully dressed she didn't appear to be in the same mood she was just about 20 minutes ago. "Whewww, that sun ain't playing out there, it done sweated my track loose in them few minutes." Tanya says while chuckling at Sheila and running towards the bathroom. Tanya runs into Lil Charles when he was headed out of the bathroom. "Move yo nappy head ass outta the way, I gotta pee shit! " Tanya yells at Lil Charles. He quickly moves out of her way and head towards his room. Chelsea continues walking up the hall heading into her mom room. Sheila is finishing up getting dressed. "Wea yaw finna go?" Chelsea says with a bit of an attitude because she had already knew what the response was about to be. "To Citi Trends so I can find something to wear tonight and then to get something done to my head ." Sheila answers. "So I guess you figured out something in the matter of 20 minute right?" Chelsea says to Sheila. "Nope I didn't but I'm still going to enjoy myself, going out dancing is the way I release my stress." Sheila answers. Sheila used that excuse quite often, but Chelsea knew it was not true at all. "The club isn't the only way you can enjoy yo self ma and besides we need to be saving all the money we can with the situation we in." "Girl you can't tell me what to do with my money or how to spend it, I'm grown and I'm your momma shit." Chelsea knew her mom was guilty that's why she had gotten so mad. "I'm just saying ma, you know the struggle we having and you blowing money on unnecessary stuff isn't helping us at all." Chelsea says looking directly at her mom. "Ion wanna hear that shit Chelsea and you keep raising your voice at me ima." By then Tanya had walked in and cut Sheila off, "What's all the yelling about?" "Nothing at all but Chelsea bouta get her face knocked off." Sheila says to Tanya. "Why what she do?" Tanya ask being nosey. "Being grown that's it , guh come on hea Tanya so we can go before these stores get packed." Sheila says while grabbing her purse headed towards the front door. "Betta stop being grown lit girl, you knowing yo momma Crazy." Tanya says jokingly. "Guh come on!" Sheila yells again at Tanya from the front door. "See ya later bookie." Tanya says while walking out of Sheila's room. "Bye Ms.Tanya." Chelsea says in a low tone because once again her mother chose the club over finances and responsibilities.
