Sheila was six years elder to Stacy but you would have thought it was the other way around. They both grew up rough. They never really  knew their dad just some guy their mom Sue would always show them when they passed the railroad track, but throughout their entire lives they never actually met him nor said a word to him. It was one time they ran into him in the neighborhood corner store, he bought them a can soda and some penny candy and that's about it.

Sue had passed away one year after Sheila had Chelsea so she never really got to know her grand children. Sheila always say how much she would've loved Lil Charles and how much Chelsea has her ways. She wasn't a bad parent but she loved beer and the club, which left little to no time with her girls.  They were mostly raised by Sue's mom, Madea and I think Sheila still holds onto child hood demons, but initially Sheila and Stacy  chose  two different paths of life. Sheila choose the drug dealers and men with money and Stacy chose going to college and entrepreneurship. So Sheila always felt that Stacy thought she was better than her. All honesty, Stacy loved her sister so much and all she felt like was missing in her life is a "sister sister" bond she yearned for since the age seventeen. Stacy always say seventeen because that's when Sheila begin getting lost in the streets.

" Don't come to my motherfucking house telling me what to do and how to do shit with my kids!" Sheila yelled at Stacy. At this point Sheila and Stacy had been going at it about fifteen minutes now.  "Well I am because that's my damn niece and nephew more like my damn kids hell you just had them." "Well take them witchu and raise them." "Shidddd, dont act like that's a problem because you know I will and you'll never see them again." Stacy screamed back at Sheila. "Girl get the fuck out my house before I do something to you ima regret later." "Sheila it's no way in hell Chelsea and Charles should be at some boys momma house staying and living at their ages." "I didn't tell them go around there or to leave they both chose too well Chelsea grown ass did shit that was right up her alley." Sheila stated looking around the corner of the wall toward the living room to ensure Chelsea heard her loud and clear. "Girl you sound dumb af, that's your daughter not some bitch off the street you got beef with." "She ain't that lil girl NOMO trust me." "Hell you the reason she's forced to grow up fast because you not doing what you suppose to do." "Stacyyyyyyy you better GET THE FUCK OUT MY HOUSE." At this point both women were face to face almost touching noses. Lil Charles and Chelsea were packing their clothes in the back of the house to leave with Stacy but they had stopped to step in and separate their mom and aunt. "Or what, you KNOW how our momma was and you repeating the cycle."
At that point Stacy had tears beginning to swell in her eyes. She knew Sheila had so much potential. They both had their moms hustling mentality they knew how to go get a dollar.
"I don't know why y'all messy asses call this bitch anyway, y'all love to give somebody something to talk about dealing with me. Y'all need to leave away from around me!!!!"  Sheila was staring directly at Chelsea. "You one messy bitch I know you called, it's always you. You go live with her and Lil Charles will live with me." Chelsea started to respond but Stacy put her hands over Chelsea's mouth.
"Don't utter one word back Chels, she's mad because I'm telling the truth." Stacy said still with her hand to Chelsea's mouth. "Nah mama, I'm going wherever Chels go." "Boy shut the fuck up, you don't know any better." "No I do know bet...." Stacy instantly reaches and covers Lil Charles's mouth with her other hand. "Hush baby, just go get y'all clothes so we can go." Stacy says looking at them both with Sheila still standing close. "You think you run shit but you don't, you'll be bringing them back you'll see." Sheila was chuckling nonchalantly.  "No, you'll see." Stacy turned to Sheila and said while storming past her and heading out the door to sit in her car while waiting on Chelsea and Charles.

As mean, and hurtful Sheila was to Chelsea and Lil Charles they dreaded leaving their mom. It's always been just them. They've been through a lot together. In Chelsea's heart she knew her mom didn't mean any of the things she said about her because Sheila was a broken woman herself. Lil Charles took a seat on Chelsea's bed he could tell in her demeanor she really didn't want too leave.

"Chels, Chels, CHELSEA!" Lil Charles yelled her name. "What Lil Charles?" "Why are you acting like you don't want to leave anymore ?" Chelsea ignored her brother. "Just talk to me ,Chels I know I'm young but I ain't dumb." "I know that Charles but what's momma gone do without us here Charles, momma needs us." Tears begin to fall from Chelsea's eyes. Even though Sheila the mom she felt obligated to take care of Sheila and make sure she was okay. "Chels this ain't normal bru, we gone be thirty-two years old mean and hateful just like mom if we stay." "I don't know Charles, you see dad don't want anything to with us hell he act like we a bother to him, all we have is momma." " And Mrs. Pat." "Yea I'm talking blood, you think Mrs. Pat gone be around forever!" "Yep, that lady love us Chels." "I know but we aren't her responsibility." "Mane look you can stay here but I'm leaving and I want you to come with me." "So we just gone pack our clothes and move with Aunt Stacy Lil Charles, really?" "Yep, at least we ain't gotta deal with all this." "Bro, you in unicorn land, that's still our momma." "Well she need to act like it." Chelsea didn't respond. "So you pack your stuff or ima pack it for you."

Chelsea begin packing all her stuff she knows she'll need and proceeding up the hall. As she passed her mom room door she could here her watching "Cheaters". Chelsea and Charles paused for a minute gazing in the room, Sheila never looked away from the television. They proceeded to head out the door and Sheila yelled, "make sure my damn door locked too."

Stacy helped them put their bags into the truck and Chelsea's phone begin to buzz, the message was from mom.

Mom: You'll be back😊

Chelsea was going to respond but she just got into the front seat sunk into the seat and rode silently to Stacy's house which was about thirty minutes away.
