Win is waiting for Bright to arrive at his store with Phi Eed, the staff from Handle Yourself With Care. It is a week later, and he's getting close to selling his store to Bright. A few minutes of waiting, finally the CEO walks into the store with a woman, probably around her late thirties, who's wearing a long black pencil skirt with a white button up blouse that is tucked neatly inside the skirt.
"Win, this is Phi Eed," Bright introduces the woman to the owner of the store.
Win gives her a wai and bows a little. "Sawasdee khrab, Phi Eed. Thank you for coming in today," he smiles appreciatively at her.
"No problem, nong. I'll get into the inspection now...?" She trails off her sentence.
"Khrab, the store is all yours," Win gestures for her to continue. Phi Eed chuckles and gets to work immediately with a notebook and a pen in her hands. She looks very professional and Win somehow feels a little scared.
Bright, of course, can sense how tense Win looks, so he pulls the younger man out of the store and guides him to sit on the curb of the sidewalk. "You seem tense, khun," Bright points out, staring at Win, who has his gaze fixed to his feet on the pavement.
"It's nothing. I'm fine," Win tilts his head up and turns to look at Bright. He gives him a smile, but it doesn't reach his eyes at all.
Bright is worried, but he chooses not to question Win, as he's afraid if he'd be overwhelmed by it. After all, right now, he's about to let go of his store-the store that was given by his father to him as a graduation gift. Win told that to him last night when they were talking on the phone before bed.
Win, on the other hand also found it hard to fall asleep after the call with Bright. He ended up overthinking about everything and an ache swarmed over his head around two in the morning. He swallowed two paracetamol pills to ease the pain and clutched on Bright's bow tie to his chest. That was how he managed to sleep until 7 o'clock this morning.
Bright exhales a deep breath, resting his hand on Win's knee. "You're going to be great, you know," The CEO suddenly speaks up.
Win narrows his eyes at him in confusion. "Great...at what?"
"At what you're going to venture soon," Bright shrugs. "You overcame your insomnia and went to therapy sessions to get better. Now, what does that show us? You're a great fighter. You were born to conquer this world," the older man voices the truth. 'You were born to conquer my heart, too.'
Win places his hand on Bright's hand that is resting on his knee and flips it over. He draws some random patterns on the palm of the CEO's hand. "You always say some nice things about me. They all might not be true, you know," Win mumbles with a pair of sad eyes.
"We've known each other for three months. That's long enough for me to know. You fell asleep in my arms on the second week of us knowing each other. Trust me, I know you," Bright assures Win with a profound passion that the younger man has sparked within himself.
"Cheesy!" Win playfully shoves the older man's shoulder, causing him to yelp due to being unprepared. They stare into each other's eyes for a moment before Win clears his throat. "Let's get inside and see how Phi Eed is doing," he announces, getting up almost abruptly.
If he stays longer there with Bright, he's afraid he can't control himself. The older man looks extra handsome today in his grey suit.
