The sun is still fixed high on the horizon. It is a hot mess. The rays from it cascade onto the entire Hua Hin, bringing the place into full view with perfect brightness and contrast. Win has a small smile on his face as he enters an antique-looking bus with Bright. The CEO gives a grimace of discomfort as he steps in and his expression returns to a stoic one a few seconds after that.
Win exhales a breath of relief when there are two empty seats at the front. He guides Bright to the seats and this time, he takes the window seat. Bright immediately unbuttons his suit jacket, fanning his face with his hand. The younger man, who's witnessing the scene, chuckles in amusement.
"Are you sure you're okay? I did warn you about your suit earlier," Win slightly smirks.
Bright glares at the man, huffing in frustration. "You don't have to rub it in my face, you know," he mumbles, crossing his arms to his chest as he leans his back to his seat. He yelps when the seat is pulled to the back without any warning, hitting a person who's sitting behind him.
"Sit still, will you?" The person rudely says to the businessman.
Bright clenches his fist and is about to turn around to reply to that person when Win firmly holds on to his hand. "Don't try and start a fight," he whispers to the older man. Bright frowns, obviously not liking it when people are being rude to him.
"But-"
"Trust me, you don't want to start a fight with the people here," Win warns again as he helps Bright pull his seat back to a normal position. "Let's change our seats," he gently pats the CEO's thigh.
"Why?"
"Your seat is broken. I know you like to rest your back to your seat whenever you're sitting down. Come," Win gets up and Bright hesitantly switches his seat with the man. "Feel better now?" He asks with his voice lacing with concern.
Bright nods, grinning at Win. "Thank you," he joins his hand with Win's and brings them over to rest on his thigh.
"Khrab, Khun Noo!" Win teases Bright using the nickname that Phi Aof uses to call the man.
"Win," Bright pouts because he just realized the nickname does sound terrible. He already told Phi Aof to stop using it, but of course, the man doesn't listen to him.
"Ah, ah, don't sulk. I'm bringing you to a place that you'll definitely like," Win tells with a clear excitement in his voice. Bright tilts his head to the side, wanting to know more about the place that Win mentioned because he is just curious. "Stop staring at me with that beautiful eyes of yours. It won't work. I still won't tell you where we're going," the younger man sticks his tongue out to Bright.
The businessman gives in and just sits silently while looking out of the window. As much as he was opposed to the idea of going to Hua Hin at first, he is glad that he decided to follow Win. This little adventure allows him to greet the horizon and salute the clear blue sky. Though the roads are unfamiliar to his eyes, as long as he has Win next to him, he's fine.
Around fifteen minutes later, the bus stops at a stop and Bright feels Win squeeze on his hand. "This is our stop. Come on," he smiles. Both men get up, pay for the fare and get off the old vehicle. "We have to cross the road from here," Win gives Bright a heads up. The CEO hums and their hands are clasped together again.
Once they see no cars approaching from far, the men cross over to the other side of the road. Bright is amazed at how Win seems to know every corner of the street. Right now, they are taking a shortcut path to the place that Win promised to bring him to. As soon as they reach the end of the road, Bright can see a giant structure of an entrance that is made out of reclaimed wooden planks.
