Hyunjin lazed around Seungmin's house with the unlit cigarette loosely propped between his lips. His bruises and scrapes from the loan sharks were healing fast, thanks to his Demon traits. Slight scabs and yellowed spots were all that remained of the injuries.
His stomach was still swirling with anticipation even almost an hour after Seungmin left. Hyunjin pushed a hand through his hair and glanced at the contract paper he was supposed to be working on. It was mostly filled with doodles of cats and a few of Seungmin's sneezing face.
All he could think about was how Seungmin's sneezing face must look pretty close to his come face.
Seriously, what is wrong with me...
He groaned and lightly hit his head against the counter repeatedly. There wasn't anything wrong with him though, he was always a dirty minded person. And he really wanted Seungmin-an unhealthy obsession he was sure. Once he got what he wanted he would be over it right?
He fucked Felix thinking it would take care of it, but... he was familiar with Felix, his sounds, his feel, his taste. Wearing Seungmin's face didn't make him Seungmin. Seungmin, he was unfamiliar with.
Or am I turned on by the fact that he's not Human, not Demon or Angel either? Am I fetishizing him for being a Nephilim?
Ah, that sounds bad...
He couldn't figure out what he felt about the boy who had annoyed shit out of him when they had first met. Now Seungmin bothered him in a whole different way, and Hyunjin wasn't sure if it was any better.
Sitting around was driving him crazy so he got up and went to the window, opening it all the way and leaning against the sill with his head sticking out. He slipped a lighter out of his pocket and lit the cigarette. He took a drag, making sure to blow the smoke away from Seungmin's window. Cold air washed over his face.
What am I even doing here? I don't know what my future looks like. How long will I be stuck in the Human world?
What scared Hyunjin was that he wasn't sure he wanted to go back to the Spiritual Realm.
Maybe he was focusing on Seungmin because he didn't want to focus on himself.
He watched the plumes of smoke swirl off and become nothing, zoning out as the cigarette taste filled his mouth.
Maybe I'm thinking to much.
He stood there for a few more minutes, smoking in silence until he felt the effects of nicotine setting in.
Sighing, he put it out on the side of the apartment building and tossed it into the open air.
He turned around and went to close the window but froze, catching something out of the corner of his eye.
What the fuck?
Hyunjin turned slowly, staring at the girl sitting on the counter and watching him with a cat-like smile. Seungmin's contract paper was in her hand.
"How long have you been there," Hyunjin said flatly, forgetting the window and not taking his eyes off her.
Why is she here?
Dread gripped him and he tried to smother it. She cocked her head, dark hair shifting,
"Longer than I thought I could be without you noticing," She picked her nails, bored, "but I'm not surprised, you've never been the sharpest knife in the block, have you, brother?"
Hyunjin narrowed his eyes at her mocking smirk,
"Why are you here Yeji."
His sister hated the Human realm more than anyone he knew, she would never come involuntarily. Yeji slipped from the counter with inhuman grace, feet making no sound on the floor as she stalked toward Hyunjin.
