"You had a vision?" Hyunjin repeated skeptically, gritting his teeth and continuing to walk forward, leaning on Seungmin.
"Well not really, it was more like... I don't know how to explain it," The black haired boy paused, adjusting his grip on Hyunjin's waist, "I saw—or felt you, like, a link or something."
Hyunjin scoffed, brows furrowing,
"Thats not possible, Humans can't use the Bond that way, only—"
Only Spiritual Beings can do that.
Hyunjin studied Seungmin's concentrating face, trying to glean what he was thinking.
He doesn't know, does he.
Which means...
Seungmin frowned,
"Well I did. Anyway, it doesn't matter, what happened?" He asked as they rounded a corner. Hyunjin could see Seungmin's building from here.
He doesn't know.
Part of Hyunjin wanted to keep it that way, but then again, he knew he would have to tell him eventually.
Just when is the right time then?
Seungmin gave him a questioning look, and he cleared his raspy throat,
"What do you think? Got jumped by your little friends."
"Bastards. But why didn't you fight back? Last time you..." Seungmin questioned, taking on an angry pout that Hyunjin thought must have been unintentional.
He's cute when he forgets his face...
"Last time I was not drained from Shapeshifting and holding it all day."
Seungmin paused for a moment, looking at him concernedly,
"You should have told me if it was that bad."
Hyunjin chuckled at the his sour expression,
"Don't worry, I'm a Demon, I will recover fast. You on the other hand..."
Seungmin blinked,
"What?"
"You're sick, you should be resting not running around at night—" Hyunjin glanced down pointedly, "With one slipper."
Seungmin looked at his sock covered foot,
"I lost it. Besides, I'm fine, you should worry about yourself."
"Is it that bad?"
"Your face is pretty messed up."
Hyunjin winced,
"Oof, but still handsome right?" He joked. Seungmin elbowed him in the side, causing him to groan in pain.
"I don't think anything could change that," he mumbled annoyedly. Hyunjin's lip hurt. He smiled anyway.
They entered the apartment building and walked as naturally as possible past the front desk attendant. Half way across the lobby Hyunjin stumbled and Seungmin smacked him on the arm, causing the desk lady to glance up and give them a questioning look. Hyunjin smiled at her nervously before Seungmin pulled him away, pushing him into an elevator and pressing 'up'. He gave Hyunjin a look as the doors closed. Hyunjin copied his look and crossed his arms, leaning back on the wall. They burst out laughing at the same time, and Seungmin pushed him playfully again,
"Could you have been more conspicuous? Or is that just one of your talents," He teased.
Is it just me or is he?
