"Y/n!! How have you been?"

One of your friends asks you as you approach the table they're all sat at in a small cafe. You had decided to meet up with two of your friends in order to catch up since they attend a different university and so you don't get to see them very often.

"Hey guys, I've been good." You say and smile as you sit down across from them both. "How have you two been?"

"We've been good! Also, Kirsten has a girlfriend now!!" Your friend, Elene, says as she takes Kirsten by the shoulders and shakes her a little in excitement. Elene had always been the more outgoing and fun type, she was very extroverted and wasn't afraid to speak her mind when she felt the need to, but she was also very sweet and caring for her friends and family. Kirsten, on the other hand, was more laidback. She was mostly quiet if out in public but when she would be alone with you or her other friends she'd showcase more of her personality.

Kirsten's cheeks flushed from embarrassment. "Elene.. I could've told y/n that myself y'know.." She mumbles and sighs, Elene sometimes had the tendency to run her mouth without thinking about it first. "And please stop shaking me.." Elene chuckles but stops shaking Kirsten.

"You have a girlfriend? That's amazing! I'm so happy for you, Kirsten." You say and smile at her. Kirsten smiles back at you and nods. "Yeah, she's wonderful, I'll show you a picture." She says and pulls out her phone, searching for a picture to show you. While Kirsten was finding a picture you turned your attention over to Elene. "How are you and Levi doing?" You ask.

Judging by the way that Elene smiled you could tell that everything was fine. "We're doing great! We went out on a date yesterday and after that he surprised me with a new dress!!" Elene says, her voice full of happiness. You knew that her boyfriend liked to spoil her and you were happy for her, you wanted your friends to be happy. "Here, I found a picture." You turn your attention back over to Kirsten when you hear her voice, and when you look at the picture you can't help but smile. "Aw, that's really cute, you two really suit each other." You say as you look at the picture of Kirsten and her girlfriend for a little while longer. Kirsten smiles at you. "Thank you, y/n."

"So! What about you, y/n? Do you have anyone speciallll?" Elene asks as she rests her chin on her palm and wiggles her brows at you. You weren't really expecting that question and you immediately felt flustered.. what were you supposed to say? You and Satoru still weren't dating even though it's been three weeks since your whole ordeal has started.. but then again since you were spending time with him, in a whole bunch of different ways, it's not like you were alone either. "Nope." You decide to say, they were your closest friends but letting them know that you were involved with your professor is something that you didn't want to bring to light. You were scared that you'd end up losing them.

Elene pouts. "Awww.. seriously? You're so sexy though!! People are just missing out." Elene says and waves her hand in a dismissing motion, you couldn't help but chuckle. "Thanks Elene, but I guess for now I'm still single." Which was true, you didn't know what Satoru had in mind.

"It's okay y/n, I'm sure someone as kind and as pretty as you will have no trouble finding someone soon." Kirsten says. You smiled warmly at her words, her compliments were always genuine. "Thanks, Kirsten."

"Ooh! Let's go into this one now!!" Elene says as she drags both you and Kirsten into another store excitedly. You all had been out shopping for a good two hours and by now your feet were starting to ache, the store that she dragged you into this time was more on the fancy side, suits and dresses hung up and displayed nicely on the mannequins. You raised your brow. "Are you gonna get something from here? It all looks kinda expensive.." You say, Kristen nodding in agreement as you both follow Elene. "Well, maybe not.. but what's the harm in just browsing?" Elene says and continues looking at the variety of dresses with a huge smile on her face, she loved expensive and shiny things.

All three of you were stood in an isle as Elene was checking the price of a certain dress that had caught her eye. You were a little bored if you were being honest, your eyes just scanned the store while you waited.

"Angel."

It came from behind you. It made Elene and Kirsten turn around to look at who said that, although you already knew.

Before you could also turn around you felt his arms wrap around your waist from behind as he brought his head down to your shoulder, his breath hitting the side of your face. "Hey sweet girl, wasn't expecting to see you in here." Satoru says and smirks as he completely ignores the baffled looks on your friends faces and just focuses his attention on you.

You were baffled too.. why was he acting like this in front of your friends? And in a store too?? Wasn't this too risky? What if someone from your university just so happened to walk into the store? What if-

"Hmm.. you're not saying anything, is something wrong?" Satoru's voice brings you out of your overthinking state of mind, you realize that you probably looked kind of stupid just standing there and not speaking.

"Uh.. no! I'm all good..." You turn your head slightly to the side of so you could see his face, which was extremely close to yours. You ignored the butterflies in your stomach and spoke. "What are you doing..?!" You tried to ask quietly but you failed since your friends were standing pretty close to you and could hear you anyway.

Satoru just smiled and placed a soft kiss on your lips before pulling away, enjoying the look of embarrassment on your face. "I'm picking you up later, around 6:35." He says, which was the first you've heard of this.. why is he picking you up later? You were just about to ask until you felt him squeeze your waist and smile. "See you in a few, love." He whispers, placing a quick kiss on the side of your neck before letting go of you and walking out of the store.

Your eyes averted to look at Kirsten and Elene. Elene had her mouth wide open and eyes wide in shock while Kirsten just had her eyes wide. You knew what was coming.. and all of it would be from Elene. She stepped closer to you. "Y/n...." She then grabbed your shoulders and began to shake you, that was a habit of hers that you just grew to accept overtime. "Who was that fine man?? You said you were single! Did you lie when you said that??" Elene asked as she shook you with every question.

"Relax! Let me explain.." You say as you grab her hands and try to pry them off your shoulders. Elene finally stopped and stepped back, her and Kirsten were both waiting for an explanation. You looked between the two and sighed. "He isn't my boyfriend." You start off, seeing their faces contort in confusion. "He's uh.. well I don't know, we have this thing going on but we're not dating.." You say. You weren't about to tell them that Satoru was your professor, and if they asked you'd have to lie.

"Well he sure seemed like your boyfriend! Did you see the way he kissed her?" Elene mumbles as she nudges Kirsten, who nods. "So then.. how did you two meet? And why did this start?" Hearing those two questions come out of Elene's mouth was still a little scary even though you knew she'd ask them. You had to come up with a good and a very believable lie, you had to be very convincing.

"..He bought me a cup of coffee once and then, yeah, it kinda started." It wasn't a horrible lie.. but you didn't even drink coffee that much anyway so you hoped they wouldn't pick up on that part.

Elene and Kirsten stared at you for a moment before Elene shrugged. "Okay, well you're lucky, he was really attractive.." Elene says and then gets nudged by Kirsten. "You have a boyfriend.." She says. Elene nods. "I know I do, but what? I can't compliment someone who genuinely looks good?" She asks and grins, making Kirsten sigh.

You were just glad that they believed you, of course you felt a little bad lying to your friends.. but in this case you had no choice.

6:33 PM.

You were just putting on a light jacket since it was a little chilly, Satoru would be here at any minute. You looked at yourself in the mirror. In your opinion, you looked good.

Just then you heard the doorbell ring and you opened the door to find none other than Satoru standing there.

"Hey baby."
