Who would've guessed?

Who would've foreseen this?

Although, amongst other things, this is not as strange as some may think.

I mean, after all, this is a common occurrence.. is it not?

Having a little, unserious crush on your professor isn't abnormal, it's not like you were the only girl who had these feelings.

Satoru Gojo was a man that looked like he was favoured by the gods. His hair a shiny white and his eyes a combination of baby and sky blue, they were  bright and sparkled even when not in direct sunlight. Eye contact with him felt like he was able to see right through you, like he was looking right into the depths of your soul. He was tall, very tall, towering at a height of 6'3, or 190 cm. Every time you'd talk to him you'd have to look up, the way he stared down at you made your stomach flutter, his gaze made you feel small and vulnerable... and you liked it. But you weren't the only one.

Other girls from your class would do things to get his attention, such as wearing somewhat revealing clothes or rolling up their skirts a little too much, or even just straight up going up to him and confessing, to which he would always reject. He was a professor after all, pursuing a relationship with one of his students would be detrimental to his career.

...

That is, of course, if someone found out.

Was it morally wrong? Yes.

Was it risky? Of course.

Did he care? Naturally, but only to some extent.

Oh, but he thought his attraction towards you was but a silly crush, maybe not even that, maybe he just found you good looking. After all you were an attractive young lady.. but let's not exaggerate things. Yes, you were attractive, but you've only ever had one boyfriend.. you always thought your luck with boys was wholly inadequate, it's as if you had no pull towards you whatsoever, which made you fairly insecure in yourself but you knew you weren't "ugly", per se, you just had tough luck.

So how were you supposed to feel when you found out that your own professor found you attractive?

Well, you weren't.

Because Satoru promised himself he would never let his "stupid feelings", as he called them, be known to you, it was too risky.. but oh how hard it was to resist you.

Why?

Why did you have such a hold on him?

You were just another student of his, he had never been attracted to any of his students before.. so why was he to you?

He didn't know. And he didn't know if he wanted to know.

At the very least, you were of age. You were 20 and he was 32.. that's not so bad, is it?

Maybe not in his mind.

But the fact still stood that he was your professor and you were his student. He couldn't make a move. He couldn't let his feelings take over..

He couldn't.

He wouldn't.

He wouldn't..

...

He would.
